The FEBC Report | DXFE Davao: Because I Care

The marginalized communities of Davao are close to the heart of 1197 DXFE “The Good News Radio” ( / 1197dxfe ), currently helmed by station manager Magnolia Yrasuegui. As part of the life of the station, she and members of her team are often to be seen engaging in a host of community activities, whether they be training sessions with the City Social Welfare and Development Office, prayer meetings at local churches, or Open House events on station grounds. If you’ve been following our social media, you’ll know that even now, a simple Community Center is on the rise on station property. Under the hashtag “Because I Care” initiative of the station, DXFE regularly partners with various organizations to distribute food packs and Bibles.
