- After getting through Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3 of the 2016 want2race competition, I am now in the Grand Final with the head-to-head shootout.
25 drivers were selected for this Grand Final with only 10 drivers being selected for the shootout (this later changed to 12).
I made it to the final 12 and also won the want2race competition! I get a fully funded season of racing in the Ginetta GRDC Championship.

You're right, the contest isn't open for 2017 yet. I would be able to tell you when it opens but I am not in the country right now.
Unfortunately you don't get paid, that would be the ultimate dream. Most racing drivers I know don't get paid a lot unless you are a factory driver, which is super rare for someone who just started their career at my age. Everything else is paid for though except for travel expenses.
Yeah I upload daily, takes me around an hour editing and uploading after my shift. I have a small camera similar to go pro and just pop sd into my phone to edit it all using that.
Well done but can't help but feel so sorry for the people who have paid £625 to go home at this point lol
