@@918Mitchell before I quit I never got less than 5k damage in the jageroo. Don't know what you're on about dude. I even had 61 percent win rate. Maybe I just got lucky in those 1000 matches.

@4:50 another thing is that after researching all 8 levels of the field modification, you get a permanent +2% HP anyway, so losing it in the level 7 field mod doesnt matter so much

Just unlocked Tortoise several days ago. Same feeling here, even with higher DPM to shred through enemy team.
Me too..i love my t95..playing it with good buddy who using m4 mle 51 french heavy tank,while im tanking all hit,he stay behind my t95,hiding his lower plate since his tank is quite high and we push through flank like crazy..

I think this tank is underrated. They say the badger is the same as the tortoise, but the badger is 50% faster, way better armor and lacks a cupola. Not sure if it's fun arc is better but it's amazing. Just a beast imo

Better armor? I disagree. Torto has troll armor, but any tier 10 TD will go trough the Badger boobs like a knife trough butter. And yeah the cupola on the Torto is kinda easy to hit, but Badger lower plate is huge. Good luck in your games.
@@ButchE30M3S14 it's not up until the jgpz e100 heat rounds to be able to pen you "like a hot knife through butter". And you know that the tortoise will be doing much worse against heat spam right?
Love this series, but my relationship with the Badger always had been a love-hate. Lower plate is horrible, giant and very weak, making his armor looks like a knight with full plate armor on his upperbody and who is running only with his pants.

Come on, the lower plate is not weak, it's one of the strongest lower plates. It's just that it gets gold spammed the whole time.
Funny how 240mm lower plate is considered weak...
@@ciemny_awootism maybe because it's huge surface, maybe because everybody is firing gold at Badger, so this 240 mm doesn't matter. But in comparison to the other two monstrously armored tds, E3 and 268/4, Badger's lower plate really seems to be weak.

So a buddy of mine talked me into getting the tortoise this last weekend. We ran a platoon of three tortoises for an 80% win ratio. We got a crucial contribution medal on our second battle. All of us maintained a 3000+ win8. This tank line is just disgusting at the higher tiers. I cannot wait to play the badger!
I did amazing in the tortoise. Even against 10s. And for some reason I've had a hard time with the badger. I don't really understand why but I'm trying to figure it out lol
4800+ dpm at tier 9 is pretty ridiculous. Destroying a tier 7 in just 10 seconds

I installed the game after a year of not playing it, played 2 matches, got matched in lower tier twice and the match ended up as a 1-15 without being able to fire enough shells to take down a single tank because slow ass heavy tanks takes half a match to get into position.
I'd love to play the game, but it seems like the game doesn't want me to have fun.
World of Tanks has become more of a torture than a fun game.
Play tier 5 till you get used to the game again, don't worry about being good, just play for fun and you'll be just as good as most of the games player base.

@@spikefall9740 quickybaby oversimplified it. The problem the badger has is, when you THINK your lower plate is hidden? Its not. I've used almost all the positions hes used in the video, and people will find the one micrometer of your lfp showing and pen you. The lower plate is too big, and the gun is very low. So if you can shoot people? They can probably see a little of your lfp. And then even 100% hull down people just gold you. Or do 2 damage with HE, yet somehow kill your driver every shot. 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ ive rage sold it twice. Tortoise is the high point in that line.

I'd like to see a masterclass for some tier 9 mediums. I think that would be fun, plus a lot of us prefer to play tier 9 over tier 10.

When I am playing in my Tortoise, I do take huge advantage of my HE rounds with that 120mm of pen, especially against the lightly armored tanks or when tanks are try to run from me and are not facing me. Trust me, that juicy 500+ dmg is just amazing.
I am looking forward to buy the Badger now that I saw your video QB, I will try to set it up like you showed.

What about combining turbo and hardening in one of ur setups? You would only miss a tiny bit of DPM from not using the vents but you would maximise your mobility and survivability.
Viewed QB's Badger Masterclass. Next battle on Mannheim Line I had 4,675 damage, 9,980 damage blocked, with 2 kills - an enemy Badger who only fired at me, and an IS-7. Thanks for the Masterclass, QuickyBaby!!

Love it QB I got this tank some years back right when they removed the 215B183 so I got it for free but didn’t like it then. However recently I have been using it a lot more with the help of these videos. Thanks
I sold my 183 because they nerfed the hesh shell, and bought the badger and I love it to pieces

With the recent changes in console I did some maths and worked when you use the active on the Food consumable and have the badger set up for dpm, while the food is active you have a effective damage per minute of 5908 which is slightly mental and even when it isn't active its over 5100
Lmao the while time I was reading this, I was thinking "food" of as the enemy team not the consumable 🤣

QB, whats the skill, field mod, or bond equipment that make all of your shells go into the center third of your aim circle. Even when full aimed half my shells hit the outside edge of the aim circle.

I remember once in Lakeville I was using the Badger with another buddy using also a Badger, the team melted and we were losing 2-13...we eventually lost but we lost by 11-15..yeah, we killed 9 tanks who were trying to get close to us. If there's something more dangerous than a Badger is two of them. That's almost 10k dpm combined which can be possible to achieve if Adrenaline kicks in if you have less than 200HP.

Day 1 of asking qb to do a masterclass for the STRV 103B
I wonder if there is a difference between a tank's configured DPM vs actual mean DPM the tank puts up in games. You could have a tank with a theoretical high DPM but horrible aim time / dispersion / poor mobility so infinitely high DPM doeesnt do you anything if you cannot have the firing positions that you need meet your theoretical values.
Maybe this is why the Badger has this disparity because its use case is so narrow (enemies frontally rush you, one at a time, while not exceeding your practical DPM)
I gave up counting how many times QB said "outrageous" when I hit ten... :)
I may spend up on my badger now.
I wanted to thank you QB - I am mainly a medium tank or heavy tank player, but I was looking for a good TD for the campaing missions - somehow obj 268-4 which is arguably one of the strongest tanks - never fitted my style of playing. But this line of wonderful brawlers is just for me, as I can see now with playing my Tortoise, which I bought after this video. Your terrible content help us become better players and have more fun in this game :)
HE nerf buffed this tank destroyer more than any other. The flat 63mm plates below the gun and above the view ports ate HE for 350-450 HP every shot from my T110E4. Below the tank is only 50mm, those could roll as high as 490. No splash means those plates have no effect unless you can shoot down on it now.
I find the badger quite underwhelming at the end of the Brit td line, I think it's the different armour layout that I'm not comfortable with

is masterclass only going to cover the tier x tanks? would you be willing to cover tier 8 and 9 tanks? especially the more competitive ones
Can you please please do an IS-7 one with all these updates, I tried looking at them but your videos for it are super old, I’m going for a really quick build
This might dumb considering I don't have much experience with WoT PC gameplay and all of its nuances. But with your primary equipment loadout, wouldn't you want to have the Rammer in the Firepower slot, and the Vents in the Survivability slot, so they both get the bonus? Unless Vents only gets a boost from the Firepower slot. Besides that this was an extremely helpful video, keep up the great work!
prob with the badger i ran into. the weak point on the corners of the tank kinda kill it for me . As i run into alot in my E3 an can be pen with out gold. top left corner if you facing the badger . you have a high chance in one shot it or ammo racking it alot . what a 5 sec reload time when you ammo racked alot even with the passives from crew perks an equipment . i see it do really good as a sniper instead of close combat . when i get it unlocked i think im going to go the sniper way .
May i ask, shouldn't gun rammer ve first slot and vents second slot?????

Qb mentions understanding overmatching 40mm armour, can someone explain this mechanic? And how to benefit from it? I'm like, if my indicator is green...shoot.

My problem with using the Badger is that my shots just never pen. Shooting where I pen tanks on any other tank sees me with a bounce in the Badger. From there, I have people just plundering my Badger in every aspect on the front so I could never do anything because if I showed my hull at all, punched straight through.
i love this vehicle, high dpm, good armor, -10 gun depresion.
Please make a masterclass for the Tortoise! I just got it yesterday and it is my first tier 9 tank.
I keep my distance with it until end game when I mop up. Average around 3-4k damage a game
@@unseen289 Wow. I'm kinda new, and I find that high tier enemy players are frankly much better than me. I average only about 1-1.5k dmg a game with top gun.

It can snipe and due to its insane reload it will tax anyone who tries to stay out long enough to get a shot on your coupla. You can literally just chill out at a distance and mangle any fool daring enough to poke their gun out at you.
Maintain this to the pace of the game and when it's just a few tanks left read the the map and cut off fleeing enemies or enemies making a line for your flag. This thing can make an amazing bush tank. You don't want to be caught with your pants down by a tortoise.
Keep at it mate. Its my favourite tank it is ridiculously strong when you get a feel for it.
Main point, don't rush up front and center !
@@unseen289 Ooh. I know that the Tortosie can snipe, because it has good accuracy and aim time. The problem is, I like to be in the heat of battle, damage, and block damage. The reason why I took the Tortoise was because of it's armor and gun. Not to say that I haven't been sniping, I do it sometimes. Maybe something like an STRV would be a better sniper.
@@natcuber I'd say doom turtle would be a better shout. Tortoise can be played upclose but people will load gold when you come along and your weaker spots are butter at that range, especially top coupla. The mistake people make is thinking the tortoise is some impenetrable tank it's really not especially up close. Stay with your team and reserve yourself to shooting and getting back behind cover. Angle the tank round corners to protect the machine gun on its front,
Also it's the perma track god, remember to use that to your advantage it's much more easier to track an enemy so they can't aim at you then just send them to hell
QB, good work on these master class videos. Just one suggestion. Put in time stamps on the video. It will really help a lot.
