  • Earcuff inspired by Square knot (Sailor knot) - How to make handmade jewelry from copper wire by Lan Anh Handmade
    Can do the same with ring, pendants and bracelets to form sets
    With this form you can use any type of wire or wire size you have. Smaller diameter wires are easier to handle, but they are less durable than larger wires.
    In the video I use :
    19 gauge ( wire diameter 0.9mm ) : 2 x 5cm( 2 inch)
    TIPS :
    - Before doing, Always be sure to straighten the wire for a more beautiful product
    - Can use a towel to straighten the wire.
    - Refer to how to straighten the wire here • Basic guide - straight...
    - Can be replaced with silver wire or gold wire for jewelry more valuable
    Or simply use cheap material like copper wire to make gifts for friends, family or for yourself
    - I just give way reference, not the best way. Can change size wire to suit your purpose. You can do better than me.
    - I bought all the material and stones in where I live (Vietnam)
    I used to round copper wire - magnet wire , it's the only kind I found where I lived for many sizes. I do not know exactly what type it was, can be normal copper wire, it have plating layer, and not dark by time

    Thank you! I will be proud to wear my ear cuff! I just realized that you have a website. Shame on me! I LIKE your website and good to see your DONATE button! I will support you in the future. I have invested a good amount to stock my inventory so that I can make the projects from the videos that I watch...and learn. I will see you on social media. You really do deserve compensation. Our education comes at a cost. And I gift forward. Thank you so much! Take care. Blessings and Re Jouir -Darlene

    How do you make this so the two pieces don't immediately flop apart??

    • @LanAnhHandmade
      @LanAnhHandmade  Год назад

      When inserting 2 pieces together, you use pliers or a hammer to tap lightly to intertwine and hold each other

    Excellent work; you’re so talented. Do you think 18 gauge wire would be good as well for this project?

    Can I make this using 20 gauge wire instead of 19 gauge? I need a sure answer

    • @LanAnhHandmade
      @LanAnhHandmade  2 года назад

      you can use 20 wire, if not stiff enough for the product, you can flatten it

      You can use pliers to gently squeeze the strings together. or use a small wire to fix the wires. Wish you success and make more beautiful products

      I used pliers to squeeze the strings together, you can use extra wire to wrap it in place if it's still loose.

      I saw some online shop selling raw materials for making jewelry
