The neutral grey is such a great addition! I love how you always try out new mechanics, even as a long time viewer your videos are always interesting and fun to watch! This is why you're easily my favourite marble channel
I don't like it personnally. I feel like 2 dead at 5 minutes was too early cause I like when there is a lot of colors fighting each others with big numbers
I remember when 8M was thought of as big. The first 8M was launched at 2:35 (from what i can tell). The first 1B was launched at 0:00, for those of you wondering.
These are my categories Very small/Asteriod(1-8k) Small (Moon) (16k-524k) Medium (Small planet) (1M-8M) Large (big planet) (17M-66M) Extra large (star) (134M+)
Maybe 1B deathstar was too pushable. 1T deathstar can be like a supermassive black hole without it being a black hole itself, more like a neutron star. The sudden death can perhaps occur on a later time like 30 minutes because, let's just face it, a 30min+ worth of megapixel multiply or release would be epic.
Also sorry if i just blew up your notifications but from now on i'm just gonna spam reply spoiler to everyone who spoils the video. Surely there notifications having that many replies will stop them from spoiling good videos
This is my most favorite multiply or release series ever! I watched every single video and it’s changed so much from megapixel multiply or release 1 to 14. Btw I think the grey ball was a nice addition
Two ideas: * It think the numbers growing would be more interesting to stare at if the higher multipliers were primes instead of powers of two. Say 3, 5, 7, 11 instead? (Since all 4 colors are playing on the same multiplier board there's no reason that board *has* to be symmetrical.) With prime multipliers we would see a whole lot of different numbers on the marbles. I'm assuming you already have some formula for the diameter of the marbles(?) so that adding new sizes shouldn't be an issue? * Speaking of the diameter of the marbles, could you try having the size of the marbles on the left board be scaled by a factor that shrinks over time? That way a 1M marble wouldn't fit in the high multipliers early on in the game, but in the mid game it could, and in the (very) late game a 16M *could* still fit as well.
The winner not only killed everyone, but also survived. Not even breaking a sweat and showing off with that clutch 200M at the end. One of the best simulations in this genre I,ve seen.
OMG Red was amazing at the end, and it confused me a little bit when seeing the eraser suddenly died out. It's like, blow a shotgun to the head of an approching enemy. That epic save was so cool.
Would it prehaps be possible for the 1B marble in the middle to not take out shields in 1 hit? it feels somewhat anticlimatic for 1 team to be doing reasonably well and then they lose all their shields in 1 hit. Prehaps make it so that the boss marble in deals only 90% of the shields health?
Random QnA Q: Why not add the split concept again? A: With the black hole, (or grey one in this case) certain situations could happen in a buggy way that a split could happen infinitely, which could make big circles useless. (I will not call them balls) Q: Why do circles jump out when they are not moving for 0.6 seconds? A: This is actually intended to make sure circles don't block multipiers off without being able to move. I will add more with more questions asked
So, the system itself is awesome, but there might be a few more things to "polish" and make this look better. Here are a few ideas: 1. Have text over/above the six upgrades for the first few seconds of the video that names the upgrades and fades out over a few seconds. That way we know what does what at a glance. 2. Have the pachinko marbles somehow advertise their size with a shifting border color. As they grow, the border gets a little thicker (a few pixels) and changes color. This would make it easier to see the huge marbles at a glance without needing to read all those tiny numbers. 3. Add some sort of border/gradient/shading/something to the boss marble. This could go either way. 4. What locale are you using? This looks like an European one, like de-DE. If most of your viewers are English-speaking, you might want to consider changing that to an en-GB or en-US locale.
probably because my two normally chosen colors were taken out right away, but the neutral color marble was just a tad too strong imo while being easily utilized. The only way i can imagine fixing it in its current iteration is making it so its not so easy to push at diagonals so it doesn't wipe out teams quite so quickly, but not sure how to do that. On that note, is it possible to make them spin? Noticed later the neutral orb started using projectiles to propel itself, could it be made to spin slowly maybe?
SPOILERS AHEAD! 🤣🤣🤣 it’s so hilarious that red uses the silver ball to exterminate yellow and blue and after it took out greens shield, red swept in and killed green. It’s just so funny. It reminds me of the climax of the first dune movie.
What the battle is supposed to be: Four colours, controlled by marbles, battle for control of a 1000x1000 pixel grid. What it actually is: Four colours trying to beat the 1 billion death star
Idk why it took me 1:30 minutes to notice the 1 billion gray ball standing in the middle lol. Also not a really big fan of it. That’s just what I think of it.
Not really a fan of the neutral marble, maybe if the amount each marble got reduced for impact was reduced, or maybe it couldn't impact the shields. The neutral marble just essentially removes any reward for early defensive selections and promotes sending the biggest marble out as fast as possible just to survive. Now, if the goal is to remove colors faster, then i suppose it's alright, if the goal is to reduce the effectiveness of an early game rush, the marble needs to absorb essentially 100% of the other marble or be more of a static emplacement.
