Good stuff. End of the day it all seems to boil down to taking ownership of your own outcomes and exercising discipline towards things that nourish your body, mind and soul and do it every day. The rest will follow. How contrary to how almost all of us live with our petty pleasures at the expense of who we could become.
This comment really resonated with me and sums up this whole conversation
Thank you.
Don't like how Arthur uses the word happiness….sorry Oprah.
"Peace "is tranquility and absence of conflict, both internally and externally.
"Happiness " is a short-term state of joy and pleasure, often influenced by external events.
"Contentment "is a long-term state of satisfaction and acceptance, characterized by gratitude and internal stability.
Genuinely curious if the Kevin Spacey comments make their way to RUclips.
I’m an Attia super fan. But I’m hoping this gets addressed so we can move on.
I don't think he will. He turned off comments on instagram
Can one of you fill me in on this?
@@trumpnation4198 Peter uploaded a picture on instagram of himself with friends, including kevin spacey. A whole lot of text too. Maybe he thinks spacey is innocent lol
He posted on IG about hanging out with Kevin Spacey. He was heavily criticised for it in the comments section.@@trumpnation4198
Address what exactly? Spacey hasn't been convicted of any crimes, and Attia isn't endorsing any illegal/immoral behaviour that Spacey may have engaged in. I don't personally know Spacey, so can't say whether on balance he is a "good" person or not. However, we all know people who are good people with a bad reputation or bad past. Our societies need more forgiveness and to respect innocent until proven guilty. Only capital crimes are unforgivable.
When people have less objection to taking pictures with Presidents who committed war crimes, or CEOs who use child slaves for labour, than actors simply accused (and not found guilty of any crimes) of unsavoury behaviour ... you know their moral/outrage compasses aren't working well.
And Tony , you were part of the crew that changed the game I the first place grifter
“Most people listening to us are non religious”. Wow Peter. And now you can add mind reader to your list of accomplishments.
Bla bla
No; he has read the studies. The great majority of the English-speaking world doesn't have a religious affiliation. He is assuming that his listeners match the total population.
Actionable steps ? Misleading title.
The happiest people I have ever met are religious.
Here for the Kevin Spacey comments
wat
@@tr0wb3d3r5 he posted a pic with Kevin Spacey on his instagram, it got exactly the sort of comments you’d expect and then he took the photo down and disabled comments on later posts
Overrated business school academic with nothing but repeating buzzwords of brain geography or biblical reference. Also, his confidence in this cliche topic irks me, leaving no space for improvement or alternatives. Hiccup episode after series of amazing technical guests.
Your opinion. Good for you. Know that.
@@jamesrhodes5305 You are wrong. Shared opinion. Know this.
@@Anonymous.User.0419it’s a bit ironic you’re critical of this guy leaving no room for improvement and then literally say “you are wrong”.
@@Ryan-vn7de Hey, I don't want to extend this. That was wrong because there are already 10 "thumbs up" comments. We like Attia because he provides real value regarding measurable parameters (Vo2 max, liver enzyme levels, etc.). What is ironic is that a guest brings a reference from a religious source (I genuinely respect) to Attia, who is known for his obsession with analytical methods.
He was brainwashed by the Catholic Church when he was a child.
Sorry Arthur, in this case you are just not right. Having faith is a genetic predisposition, period.
What an egotistical goal.. so booooring
Christ is King.
