thats not correct, you still need your photo id to vote, the information letter has no real function, even if most poll places like to take it for math reasons.
USSR beat Eastern Germany and Berlin, giving the West of Berlin as a deal to the US; later to be divided into US/French/UK territory, with the remainder of Germany being took by the rest of the allies. That and the USSR took both the most casualties and the most Axis forces out of action (70-80% I believe, also mainly elite units). This not to say Eastern Germany and many eastern bloc countries have yet to recover from their daunting soviet days, even with their reunification or new governments in place since 26 or so years ago...
I'm a working member of Hoosier Action, here in Indiana. This was one of the first states to enact such laws. So few people vote because they just can't. We're working to change this. ✊🗳️🇺🇸
And who doesn't have access to get an I.d. Plus don't use the fist it's either socialist fist or black power idk. Plus cracked isn't bipartisan they just stir up shit honestly. Notice how many videos they have that debunk their other videos.

1. Broadly speaking, US citizens don't want a national ID which is what you're basically suggesting. 2. Depends on the jurisdiction: some have to register every time, others you only have to re-register when you move. 3. IMO making voting day a holiday is pointless, esp. now that we have early voting. Even on holidays many people have to work. Who drives the buses/trains/cabs/ubers to get people to the polls? Are there no police that day? Hospitals with 24 hour care? No restaurants to go to? Grocery/shoe/etc stores? The election judges sure don't get the day off. etc. 4. Yes, but who appoints the independent agency or members thereof?
Most Americans would love to have It that way. However, DEM’s couldn’t complain anymore. Everyone I know would jump on that. @@ALLmasked America has never been the paragon of equality. We stole land from/murdered en masse an entire race of people. We enslaved another race of people and, when that race gained freedom, created local laws to keep them from gaining equality. Now, in modern times, those at the top of the social ladder fear these people and find every opportunity to remind them of their subservience, all while turning a profit and demonizing them i.e. flooding their neighborhoods with drugs that they didn't have access too before, then blaming them for the state of said neighborhoods.
Voting is ALWAYS on a Sunday in Germany. And that's the day of the week when a majority of shops are closed (thanks Christians), so consider voting day always being a holiday.
John T. DiFool when you get your drivers license/ state ID renewal, you check a box on the form. There are other ways, but nobody is keeping them from doing it. It just burns me up when people want something done for them, but cant perform that simple task.
So it indeed is an opt-in service that's what i was curious about. Any reasoning behind this? It seems somewhat shady to me... a "service" being offered at a somewhat unrelated government "branch" instead of being an unalienable right (and thus provided for free without ever having to ask).
My luggage is also searched literally every time I fly, thanks to a long record of classified military and government work. They get searched every time I change planes, too. I took two bags from Californis to North Carolina with layovers in Texas and Colorado. I arrived at my destination to find a total of six tags in my luggage - three in each suitcase - and while I'd love to hear an alternative explanation, it sure looks to me like two of those searches were motivated by a fear of airport personnel sneaking shit into my bags and holy shit, is that a thing? Because that is probably a bigger problem than you can solve with bag searches.
I'm The Heroic Protagonist Cracked isn't only a RUclips channel (and website) that provides well written entertainment. Cracked is also smart and conscious.
I'm The Heroic Protagonist Why would you be surprised? Cracked as an organization is undeniably biased in favor of liberalism. That being said, most of the data we currently have suggests that Cracked is very much correct on this one.
He provided sources for everything he said, if you find something wrong with his argument, tell us specifically what it was. You can't just say "Most points" and expect us to take you seriously.
Daniel, love ya. I really do. I work for TSA. Have been with them for almost 11 years. I work in checked baggage. There are a MULTITUDE of things that you could have in your bag that would set off the scanners and require a physical search.
"And I know, Cracked is a non- partison entitiy and we've never come out for one party or the other." Lmao your political alignment was supposed to be a secret all this time? Not really working out for you, huh?
This is insane! I am a poor Canadian minority who has never once had trouble voting. I had my stuff mailed to me, popped into the local school where voting was being held and was out in ten minutes.
Honestly, I can't argue with any of these points. I get that they make getting an ID a nightmare and why that disenfranchises the poor, and minorities and all of that, and I think that's awful. But there's a part of me that's also like, "Hold on, we require an ID to buy cigarettes and beer, but you just need to tell people your address when you want to vote? A thing that is vastly more important than buying beer or cigarettes?" I mean, I'm named after my dad, and I live at home, so there are two people with the same name at the same address, one is Junior, one is the Third, because grandpa who's dead had the same name. Now, when I go to vote, I need to find my district, by giving my address. Then I walk over there, give my address again, and give my name. At that point, two entries for the same name show up, one says Junior and the other has no suffix, because I think when I filled out my registration form, they didn't have a check box for the Third, just Senior or Junior. But I don't remember, because I filled out my registration form years ago, and the people at the desk don't know either. So, we look at the signatures on file, which are like photocopied. One signature is basically a scribble so you can't really tell what it is and it's photocopied so it looks like a mess. The other signature, because it didn't photocopy well at all, is basically just a series of dots, possibly because I didn't use a ball point pen on my registration form, so it didn't transfer properly through the carbon paper. There's basically no way to check who either my dad is or I am through our signatures either. Oh, and even though I've been voting in the same place since I was 18, I'm pretty sure the people at the voting place, who are the same people every year, more or less, don't recognize me, because we go through the issue of who is who every year. So, I've probably voted as my dad a few times, and he's probably voted as me. Technically, that would be voter fraud, wouldn't it? But how could anyone actually prove that took place? You can't match the signatures on file all that well. And it seems to me, pretty much anyone could just walk into our voting location, give the right address and name and vote as either me or my dad without much issue, because we never have to present ID or anything like that. Just give our name and address. How would you ever prove that the wrong person voted? So, I'm not sure that voter fraud can really be proven or disproven to be taking place, just from my own personal experience. Then there's the rumors that people who are dead vote. I know there are stories of how this type of thing used to be rampant in Chicago, or so I've been told. It seems to me we should automate a lot of the voting system. You automatically get registered at 18, once a death certificate is filed, you automatically get purged from the system. That way we know that dead people aren't voting. Given my own situation and the fact that I'm never sure if I'm voting as myself or my dad, it seems like maybe we should be doing more to prove who we are at the polls than just giving our name and address, since that's information that almost anyone can obtain, especially since we ID people when they buy cigarettes and beer. But that also means we shouldn't make getting an ID a chore that according to one story I read requires a person to visit three different states, and still end up with no ID.
The NYC Board of Elections *founded by Teddy Roosevelt* does not allow you to show ID at your poll site. If you would like you can very easily look up anyone's voting history. Not who they voted for but what years they voted. That's public information. It has that person's address. You can then go into that person's polling site as long as you're the same gender and around the same age you can claim to be that person and vote. There's no record but a signature. Good luck tracking someone down by a signature. Congrats you are now able to commit mass voter fraud 😑. I am now on a list
According to state records, my dead grandfather voted over five hundred times between November 2006 and January 2017...he died September 7th, 2006...he voted in six different counties, with a massive list of different addresses. I reported it (because i saw some GMA report on dead people's names being used to vote following Trumps election) and was told there was no proof...which is kinda stupid since i used his SSN to search for his voting records...and that was just within one state...who knows if he voted somewhere else, from beyond the grave...
Glad to see Cracked stepping more into the political arena. I appreciate humor with my dishearteningly honest summary of current events, and I think Danny'O is a great voice for this sort of bit. Nice work. Keep it up.
Great to see Cracked making this kind of content freely accessible to the masses when it seems you can no longer view for free outside of the US the big topics covered by Last Week Tonight.
SWAZAcoustic a lot of people may not have access to identification, which means they can't vote. These people who don't have identification tend to be minorities, elderly and the poor.
More specifically, 11% of eligible voters lack ID, and voting is a constitutional right. See Shelby v Holder 2013 SCOTUS decision for more info on why these laws are unconstitutional.
I'm against voter fraud, mainly because I actually committed it completely by accident. I see why people have a hard time with wanting the voter to show their id or getting rid of day of registration. However, those things are what got me in trouble. So I'm more for it. So back story on how I committed voter fraud. It was four days before my 18th birthday. I was told, incorrectly I might add, that I could vote in the primaries before I turned 18 since I would be 18 by the general election. So the day of the primaries, I registered to vote. I didn't have a state id at the time, so my mom came with me. She vouched that I was who I said I was. The election judge looked everything over, handed me a ballot, and I voted. In December I got a call saying what I had done was voter fraud. However, I explained the situation to the police officer that had called me, and he told me if I didn't hear anything in 2 months I would not have charges pressed against me. That was December of 2008. April of 2009, I got a letter saying I had court. I was charged as a minor, so it is off my record. But it can happen to anyone.
I get that searched bag tag in almost every bag I check too... I fly somewhere almost every month, so that's two flights per month, and I swear only twice this year have I not had my checked bag get that fun little rummaged-through tag. I've started keeping them in a dedicated, zipped mesh pouch in there, just for fun.
I find no issue with asking for a photo ID. Considering many states are working towards giving everyone free ID's, it is in no way racist to ask for a photo ID to vote considering you need a photo ID to do ANYTHING else
Ross M this isn't a $100 ticket, this is at most $30 and required to drive or walk the streets at night regardless. Either you have enough to pay for it or take it out of your tax refund. There is absolutely NO reason any legal citizen shouldn't have a photo ID
First off, $30 to vote or $1,000,000, both are unconstitutional. Secondly as a matter of practicality I currently have no need for a up to date ID besides to vote. Were I not financially stable getting an ID to vote would be the last thing on my mind.
Saying it costs $30 to vote and $30 to prove who you are, are two completely separate arguments. This is something that by law, every citizen is supposed to have anyway. Now as for it being up to date, I'll agree with you there. An ID is not just to vote, it's so you don't get fined or arrested for walking through your neighborhood at the wrong time
That's not true at all. There is no law requiring every citizen to have an ID. I don't remember living in a dystopian novel where I can be arrested for being without my ID. If you have to have an ID to vote and you have to pay $30 to have an ID you have to pay $30 dollars to vote. It's called the transitive property.
I had to rewatch the first minute about how he was questioned by the secret service and now is near guaranteed to be "randomly searched" when flying, yay freedom.
Pretty sure I saw a momentary blush of genuine, barely-restrained anger in there. Good. Tap into that, Dan. Wanna make a difference? Use that anger and turn it into action. Remember, Al Franken went from a SNL goofball to one of the most respected legislators in the Capital.
Do love me some Dan O'Brian, I read and enjoyed your book (10/10 would steal again), but to say Cracked is politically neutral is the same as calling Trump's position on the KKK neutral. Sure no one out right said anything, but we all know whats up.
He did not say they are politically neutral. He said they are non-partisan. Having a politcal leaning does not automatically make you a supporter of a specific politcal party.
We should start planning the break out now for when D.O.B. gets sent to Gitmo. I have a big 70s style van, so now all we need is a guy who's good at disguises, someone who smokes big cigars, and a heavily-built gun expert we need to drug every time he gets on a plane.
Calling out republicans for being greedy, racist, fuckboys does not make them partisan. It makes them objectively and factually correct. Now if Dan made a video for the mid term election that listed all the state level politicians he wants you to vote for then they'd be partisan.
I am tired of reprhasing this, so now I'll just be quoting Brian Shields: "Cracked is obviously left-leaning, but partisan means siding with a party. Being left of center doesn't mean being a Democrat."
In Belgium showing up at the voting booth is mandatory. You could get fined if you don't show up (though it rarely ever happens). You don't have to actually vote when you're there, you can either not fill out the form and put it in the voting booth blank, or you can write or draw something on it making it invalid. in the first case IIRC your vote goes to whichever party got the most votes, and in the second case your vote doesn't get counted. Also we don't have a retarted 2 party first past the post voting system. And everyone has ID cards, and has to show them when you show up to vote, to prove that you showed up
In Australia we vote on a Saturday, that way you can buy a democracy sausage from a Boy Scout and listen to buskers while you wait. The conservatives did pass a law giving you about two days to enrol after an election has been called. They say for administration, when you know it is to stop young people from voting for progressive parties.
Even beyond this, what is the longest you've ever waited in line to vote? Where do you live? Those who have the longest waits are in urban areas. How many people in those areas can wait in line for hours? Who lives in those areas?
I worked as an election judge and can tell you that the amount of effort it would take to vote illegally so completely outweighs the potential benefits it's laughable
I live in Kansas City. And I like you and your videos. I keep meaning to get active. Based on your video and your suggestions, I'm gonna go ahead with *both* options.
Anyone who says moving voting to a weekend can bite me. Most lower class workers in the US work weekends. What would be needed is for voting day to be made into a national holiday in addition to the laws we already have requiring employers to allow employees a certain amount of time to go vote in case they are scheduled to work anyway. Making it a holiday can be used to encourage people to go out and vote, and for employers to give their workers a day off. If at all possible, laws should also be enacted restricting businesses from being open past or before a certain time, if at all on voting days. Remove reasons for people to not vote and hopefully they will. Of course hospitals and other emergency services stay open. With more time open parents could bring their kids along to see them vote and teach them the importance of voting. Anyone who says that you shouldn't have a day off to do your civic duty is unpatriotic.
Is it just me or have Cracked's videos been really damn loud lately? I usually have my volume at 20 for everything, but I have to turn it down to 12 when I watch a Cracked video.
In Minnesota the secretary of the state is being brought to court for not releasing public information about who wasn t allowed to vote and why. In America you don't have to vote and I notice many never do. I still do but am losing interest in all politics, boring.
I remember when Cracked was a magazine doing a poor job of imitating MAD. Now, it's full of legitimately thought-provoking and insightful content which surpasses The Daily Show in quality. Oh my, I remember when The Daily Show was actually a comedy news satire show, instead of being the number one news source for people who don't like Fox or CNN...
My wife has 2 voter registrations one underneath her married name and one through maiden name we've tried to get her taken off the maiden names roll but they seemingly never take her off and she's on two separate districts so she could effectively vote twice if she wanted to the most annoying thing is jury duty goes off the voting registration in our area so she gets summoned for jury duty twice a year seemingly
YES! Will be shared! We must vote! If you vote you must help others to do so. Make a pledge to register at least one person before the mid terms. If they need help with forms or a ride to the polls, be there for them. Be their, 'Ballot Buddy' and get out the vote. MAKE AMERICA SANE AGAIN 2018!
I have been able to vote twice since 2004. The year I went to collage. I have shown my two voting registrations cards every voting year. I only vote one time per election. This is the same with a lot of my friends. One of my customers from work, His mother passed away three years ago, some how she was able to vote this past election. But no voter fraud here.
Why does the U.S.A only have 1 day they can vote on? NZers can cast their vote 2 weeks early if they wanted to, called "advanced voting", and the places that do them are open late nights, and and have extended hours, so everyone can find time to vote. We also have mobile voting stations that visit hospitals and rest homes
Wow am I glad there's Daniel. For example. And in public, too. Someone to turn to for light and laughter when all seems fucked up beyond mending. And him with an action-plan, too! Wow.
My dad used to say "The younger you are the more Liberal you're likely to be. The opposite is true for Republicans; the older you are the more likely you are to be a Conservative." I don't know if that's true, but if it is, why would the Republicans alienate old people from voting?
I'm reminded of CGP Grey's rules for rulers. You've got to make it easier for your supporters to vote, harder for your opposition's supporters to vote through bureaucratic BS and gerrymandering and if you keep getting elected even with abysmal approval ratings you've succeeded (at being a scumbag politician).
Here's my simple solution. Starting from 2024, everyone will be needed to register for a voter ID card. Once you have it, you keep it for 20 years. This is the only requirement for voting. Now everybody has 7 years to get the ID. If you can't be bothered to get the card by then, then you don't deserve to vote.
Voter ID laws are such a smoke screen. Voting is an undeniable right, and even one thing that gives anyone pause about participating is unconstitutional and abhorrent. I have a hard time coming back from why not just have your ID on you? Yes, that makes sense, but it's preventing a crime that is nonexistent. Of course we should prevent voter fraud, but the kidnapping of unicorns is just as prevalent and I am also concerned about that.
Oh DoB, my favorite Cracked writer and the only one I consistently watch. I will not try to dispute reports on voter fraud, I haven't done any research to form an opinion on it either way. I do know that there are millions of really dumb people in America and would like at least a very low baseline for voting to get rid of a lot of those people. If you are too lazy or stupid to get an ID (which is needed for practically everything anyway) and register for early voting if you're unable to go out on election day, I don't want you voting.
This is what I don't understand. Why doesn't the U.S. vote on the weekend like some many other countries? Also, I do not believe it is a big deal to present some kind of identification to vote.
Need an ID to cash a check, open a bank account, drive, fly, take a bus, get a job, enroll in obamacare, receive welfare.... and Cracked nonpartisan 😆😂🤣
Important note to people who want to help: You know how the NRA seems to get everything they want always? They are not a big organization. They get what they want because they send out specific updates to their members about every new piece of gun control legislation being considered, and then those members actually show up to those meetings to voice their opinion. Things like the "Let America Vote" group mentioned in the video ACTUALLY WORK to get things done. It's might seem like it's easier to just sit back and complain that things are going to shit and you can't do anything about it, but it's NOT HARD to make your voice heard. The hard work of keeping up with proposed legislation is already being done for you. All you have to do is show up.
You know my voting ballad wasn't actually counted because my signature didn't match the one I did over four years ago and all I had to do was rewrite what it was then write the new way I do it but I honestly have no clue how I did. It doesn't help that I don't have one signature.
voter fraud is a problem. my very liberal exfriend openly bragged about sending in an absentee ballot early ballot and voted again on election day effectively voteing three times. he went on to brag about how many others Were doing the same in kentucky in support of clinton. so yes voter fraud is a problem.
Or you know, you could issue IDs to all your people at a certain age for a very small fee (e.g. in Europe - 14 years, 2 dollars) and use that to vote, hence eliminate "illegal votes". Everyone who is a citizen of the country and has this little plastic rectangle can vote, regardless of all other factors. The fact that this isn't a thing in the US is insane to me...
"Cracked is non-partisan..." Oh Daniel, that has to be one of the funniest things you've ever said. Just because you don't out right give support to one party doesn't mean you (and Cracked as a whole) don't lean heavily to one side.
If this has been mentioned already I do apologize, and I like O'Brian, but he has done research on voting hasn't he? He realizes that you can vote early, before November 8th, right? Early voting started as early as September in 38 states last year. Every state allows early voting. So, as a minimum wage worker you can't get one day off to go to a court house in your district and vote in three months? Come on. Second point, if statistics hold, don't elderly people mostly vote Republican? Third point, while it was laughable O'Brian states that Cracked is Non Partisan, he also states that the Republican Party is solely responsible for making it difficult (I.E. prove you are a citizen in order to vote) and conveniently leaves out the Democrats want to make it easier for voter fraud to occur, like allowing illegal immigrants to get driver licenses.
Here are a few points on how I think you are wrong. Please correct me if I'm wrong. ID laws won't hurt minorities, poor or the elderly. This is because in order to claim government benefits such as school grants, Food stamps, of Social Security an ID is required. These are things that most of these people qualify for and usually claim. Therefore it should be easiest for them to show ID. Also the main cause of voter fraud is people voting in place of people who either don't exist or can't make it to the polls. Not illegal immigrants. For example say I'm a I volunteer to work at the poll and at a slow time all if the people from the other party are out. At this time I can use the names of people who I know are dead, but because of automatic renewal are still registered to vote. And boom I have 10 extra votes for my party. This would be stopped by voter ID requirements because the IDs have a barcode that needs to be scanned rather than just checking a name off ( I know this because where I live in Arkansas we have to provide ID in order to vote).
Dude, a fucking STATE ID costs less than a family bucket at KFC and it's valid for like 5 years. Also, the number of people with no valid ID is often falsified. Recently some female politician from LA said that in California alone there are over 600,000 american citizens without any kind of ID.....with no ID you can't stay in a hotel, get a bank account, cant rent an apartment let alone buy a house, can't get a job, cant get government benefits, cant rent a car, or even enter certain office buildings so how do those people live?
"I can say whatever I want, 'cause I've already been investigated by the secret service. I have a book called 'How To Fight Presidents', I don't care, come at me, eat sh*t." Bad. Ass.
If you aren't on a Watch List, you haven't been on the internet long enough.

USA weren't the one who defeated Hitler. The USSR Red Army did.

We did a lot of good for Germany and Japan that helped set them up for success... and then didn't do ANY of that stuff back home.

It sounds like India has ideas that the US should adopt.

My luggage is also searched literally every time I fly, thanks to a long record of classified military and government work. They get searched every time I change planes, too. I took two bags from Californis to North Carolina with layovers in Texas and Colorado. Because that is probably a bigger problem than you can solve with bag searches.
I've known people who snuck a pound through airports, they're stops are not random never. If you live in the shadows you can get away with a lot.

I'm The Heroic Protagonist Why would you be surprised? Cracked as an organization is undeniably biased in favor of liberalism. That being said, most of the data we currently have suggests that Cracked is very much correct on this one.
I feel ya. something stupid I wrote on an envelope as a teenager still haunts me. comedy is subjective. everyone's a critic
I like this dude the best He's Smart and Not over the top on everything
Critical Hit how so?
Critical Hit He said it, if you have evidence that he's wrong, prove it
Critical Hit except for the point of the video. Can't deny that
He provided sources for everything he said, if you find something wrong with his argument, tell us specifically what it was. You can't just say "Most points" and expect us to take you seriously.
Oh look! He fell apart like a wet paper bag.
Cracked is non-partisan? That's hysterical.
Daniel, love ya. I really do.
I work for TSA. Have been with them for almost 11 years. I work in checked baggage. There are a MULTITUDE of things that you could have in your bag that would set off the scanners and require a physical search.
I just found the deleted article. Anyone else wanna join the No Fly List?

"And I know, Cracked is a non- partison entitiy and we've never come out for one party or the other."
Lmao your political alignment was supposed to be a secret all this time? Not really working out for you, huh?
This is insane! I am a poor Canadian minority who has never once had trouble voting. I had my stuff mailed to me, popped into the local school where voting was being held and was out in ten minutes.
I live in Britain and our school is a polling station and because of people shouting tories for the win now half the schools blocked off.
Well put sir
The NYC Board of Elections *founded by Teddy Roosevelt* does not allow you to show ID at your poll site. If you would like you can very easily look up anyone's voting history. Not who they voted for but what years they voted. That's public information. It has that person's address. You can then go into that person's polling site as long as you're the same gender and around the same age you can claim to be that person and vote. There's no record but a signature. Good luck tracking someone down by a signature. Congrats you are now able to commit mass voter fraud 😑. I am now on a list
p.s. a utility bill is considered valid ID
The best joke, "Craked is non-partisan."
I like being told to click "the big C in the middle" and pretending Cracked has special knowledge about my anatomy.
I did what he said and contacted my reps. Told them to pass voter ID laws now...
Glad to see Cracked stepping more into the political arena. I appreciate humor with my dishearteningly honest summary of current events, and I think Danny'O is a great voice for this sort of bit. Nice work. Keep it up.
MANDATORY VOTING.
As an Australian, don't do it. It's the one thing our voting system has worse than the US, UK or Canada.
I just went and read the archived article "6 Helpful Tips for Kidnapping the Presidents Daughters" and was reminded once again why I love DOB so much
Great to see Cracked making this kind of content freely accessible to the masses when it seems you can no longer view for free outside of the US the big topics covered by Last Week Tonight.
just out of curiosity how does requiring ID to vote stop people from voting...
You're hilarious if you believe that either party cares about you or has your best interest in mind or voting changes anything.
I find no issue with asking for a photo ID. Considering many states are working towards giving everyone free ID's, it is in no way racist to ask for a photo ID to vote considering you need a photo ID to do ANYTHING else
What about the states that it costs money to get an ID in?
Every channel should do a visit about this subject. I've always said the more votes the less bullshit!!
We should start planning the break out now for when D.O.B. gets sent to Gitmo. I have a big 70s style van, so now all we need is a guy who's good at disguises, someone who smokes big cigars, and a heavily-built gun expert we need to drug every time he gets on a plane.
non-partisan? I was pretty sure you guys at least leaned heavily to the left?
But they don't endorse a specific party or candidate and as such, can identify as nonpartisan.
I love how he's wearing a tie bar on a loosened tie.
You gotta love Daniel and that article he gets watched for gives him enormous street cred! lol
And everyone has ID cards, and has to show them when you show up to vote, to prove that you showed up
"If voting worked, they wouldn't let us do it" -- Mark Twain
I was hoping you would be hosting this one. The universe provided.
...somehow I wasn't subscribed yet, though I check Cracked daily. Fixed that oversight today. Excellent work on this video.
In Australia it is compulsory to vote and every school is a voting station. We actually have a representative Government.
I live in Kansas City. And I like you and your videos.
I keep meaning to get active.
Based on your video and your suggestions, I'm gonna go ahead with *both* options.
Unhinged? Insanity and genius are often confused.
My gawd, I adore you, Mr O'B. That was glorious. We'll save this sad, lost, dumb country yet.
Is it just me or have Cracked's videos been really damn loud lately? I usually have my volume at 20 for everything, but I have to turn it down to 12 when I watch a Cracked video.
omg, that censor beep is killing my hearing
I love your snarky comedic approach. Smart, cute and funny. Cracked is my news.
America's voting system is fascinating. It's so crazy, it could be from a dystopian future novel.
Dan, though a "four in hand" knot may be the appropriate tie knot for your face I feel the "Windsor" knot would be better fit for you.
Also 15 an hour cost's people their jobs...check out the paper on Seattle's new 15 an hour min wage.
I don't get why more people don't use absentee ballots. Vote from home! No pants required!
Is there a reason why "Cracked Explains" isn't noted in the title like all the other series?
you ever stop in the middle of taking about the notification bell and wonder how you got here? I do.
Please keep talking about important topics like this.
Thanks for putting the word out, for real. I now have karate comin' out my body.
that moment when you have mix feelings about a video and can't decide wether to like it or not.
Keep this stuff up Daniel!
Great work, Cracked. Serious question, isn't it common convention that poor and old voters typically vote GOP? Why would they want to alienate them?
If it's a non issue, than what's the harm?
Or you know, you could issue IDs to all your people at a certain age for a very small fee (e.g. in Europe - 14 years, 2 dollars) and use that to vote, hence eliminate "illegal votes". Everyone who is a citizen of the country and has this little plastic rectangle can vote, regardless of all other factors. The fact that this isn't a thing in the US is insane to me...
"Cracked is non-partisan..." Oh Daniel, that has to be one of the funniest things you've ever said. Just because you don't out right give support to one party doesn't mean you (and Cracked as a whole) don't lean heavily to one side.
where can i get ahold of all your books?
I will say I don't understand why voting day is not a holiday.
Dan continues to be my favorite person on Cracked, and this video just reinforces why I feel that way.
This is one of the only people on cracked that are actually funny
"Cracked Explains" will now be known as "Cracksplaining".
LOL can't stop laughing since I see empty papers
Through the whole video I kept thinking Daniel had a cartoonishly long tie a la Trump with two tie clips. Please say I wasn't the only one...
Voting should be a national holiday to help make it easier to vote.
So then worrying about Russia messing with votes means nothing then? So we can drop the subject.
"I can say whatever I want, 'cause I've already been investigated by the secret service. I have a book called 'How To Fight Presidents', I don't care, come at me, eat sh*t."
Bad. Ass.
This system doesn't help people who can't get mail because they don't have a mailing address, but I really like the mail in ballots only system.
