I'm new at football and I'm starting to get confused at my high school with the plays. Thank you for everything, you have helped me out so much.
@firstdowntraining both things, how do I make a good route in order to outplay the defender. And also how can I learn every play I'm supposed to do? Sometimes I just don't get why I'm doing what I'm doing.

Ball of the foot makes contact first but the foot can be flat. Just shouldn’t strike on your heel

Yes and I recommend anything where you have a lot of mobility. AKA can touch your hands over your head. I suggest X-Tech pads or Xenith
