This was the studio track over live footage. This one is somewhat deceptive because Japanese bands generally use something like Live Music Video (or something similar) to denote them putting a studio track over live footage. A lot of times Official Live Video is indeed a live version, they even used it themselves in the past for real live footage, so not sure why they did it like this although it was pretty obvious with them using multiple venues. Great track though, it is one of their earlier ones.
They just announced another Japan tour and Taiwan (if translation correct?), following the US. They will be performing with Rottengraffty, Hanabie, Survive Said the Prophet, and Demon Kakka at different shows. A new single will drop. they will release a Blu-ray of the Zepp tour and more. A little help from a Japanese speaker would be appreciated. RUclips isn’t the best at translations.
I hope to see more all female Japanese metal bands touring together that would be great. Or Alt-Idol groups. :) Especially in America. Or The Warning. A The Warning/Band-Maid/Nemophila tour would be fantastic for example.
What I can get from it (with my limited Japanese knowledge + their website): - New digital single "Rise" releasing March 10th - They will be releasing the final show of their previous tour (which was on February 10th, I actually watched that one on stream) on Blu-ray which will release on May 24th. - They will do a new Zepp tour (Zepp is a chain of venues in Japan, i don't see anything about Taiwan), it seems to be shared with different artists again like they have done in the past. So both Nemophila + an other artist will perform on the same day, back-to-back and probably share the stage for one track (I also assume they will release covers again of those bands, but they didn't say they were): RottenGraffty, Hanabie (that's a big step up for them), Survive Said The Prothet (don't know them), Demon Kakka (who is the singer/frontman of Saki's favourite band Seikima II, that guy is sight to behold). - Nemophila's 4th Anniversary (titled Rizing Nemo) has started, I am not sure what they said about it apart from that unfortunately. I also noticed on their website that they will broadcast a talksession live during their US tour (titled: 地獄のゆるふわ生配信 from LA) it is streamed on twtcstng (I can not put the full name here, youtube will block). You can buy a ticket now, it starts on March 12th and the VOD will be available until March 19th. It will probably be in Japanese though, not sure if Saki is going to translate parts.
@@MaartenT Thank you I had to run to work and didn’t have time to check their website. I did watch the live stream of their final Zep concert, but will purchase the blu-ray. I’d didn’t know the last name was the group Saki likes. I’ve heard a lot from Saki, but didn’t make that connection. Thanks for the information on the LA stream. As I’m typing I’m covering up your information on the date, but I’ll purchase and watch later. I presume the link is on their website. Thanks a bunch. PS - March 12th is San Diego, which I’m going to. Is there a time delay, or is this stream San Diego House Of Blues?
@@michelm.6033 It is streamed on March 12th at noon Japan time (JST), which is about 4 am for Western Europe, 3 am UK, 10pm EST on March 11th , 7pm PST on March 11th. (I think that's right and I didn't make mistakes). So I assume it's streamed the day before the San Diego gig. The link is on their website under the news tab, click on "地獄のゆるふわ生配信 from LA!", the next page will have the link And yes, I am sure Saki is really happy that she can play on the same day as the frontman of her favourite band Seikima II. I have read that she basically started to play rock/metal because of hearing their concert on tv. And yes, I will buy the Blu-ray as well. I did the same thing for their previous one even though I bought a ticket to the stream for that one as well (and I actually still have my own rip from both of those).
@@MaartenT Thank you for the detailed information. I still need to revisit their page. That’s 9pm CST (my time) and I’ll be catching an early flight on the 12th, but have enough time for the show. Appreciatively,
Love this song. But I love all there stuff. Cant wait to see them in a couple weeks here in USA . Correct be if I am wrong anyone but I could have swore I read an article with Mayu saying originally the band name was gonna be SORAI or it was being considered. that is a cool name too but I love Nemophila better :)
The early livestreams had issues being downloaded to RUclips. The sound appeared to be worse than the actual livestream so they just overlaid the studio track. Great song. One o my favorites. A Sorai is something like a very high up in the order of concubine from what I heard anyway.
This was footage from 2 different live streams they did during the lock down. They will start their US tour soon.
One of my favorites
What a rhythm section !

Just amazing amazing amazing band!❤️😂
I like all their songs but this is my favorite one. Amazing band 🤘✊️🤘
This is a great band. As good as BAND-MAID but heavier.

nemophila March 10th single release
All of them are great! Tamu won my heart (respectfully). Bass players (Haraguchi-San); IMO need more love in the world.
Fun fact - first, they thought about naming the band SORAI, but then they picked NEMOPHILA instead

Correct. Nemophila was the second choice but suits them so well. Even if nobody can say the name properly. 🤣
@@yakidin63 lol yes so many say it wrong. I agree Nemophila suits them very well.

Sorai is the name of autumn wind.
Oiran is the "high up concubine"...a more classy/educated/for-the-rich Geisha.
