I think jay stole their watch, from ayubs friends room or the air bnb. Yes he came and left alive. He also said he saw jay leaving in a hurry. Was this because he took their watch and they realised after he left? Then caught up to him?

The killers could have sent the text stating Jay was in a ditch and cut by a cactus. They probably got him after he stole the watch, took him to the trail which was isolated, and stabbed him to death. Then they took his body to the sea to become fish food.

on the face of it seems like Jay took the opportunity to leave the apartment when the couple asked for the car to be moved and refused to go back into the apartment, which in itself doesn't mean that his disappearance is related to the people staying in the apartment, but he obviously wanted to leave.

I thought the sofa was initially upstairs. When the 'buzzer goes', producing an 'annoying noise', the sofa magically moved downstairs.
The alleged doorbell ringing, car moving exercise was a way of MWT covering for Ophelia who had slipped up earlier, that she had seen Jay, 15 or 20 minutes later walking up the road in the wrong direction as she drove past him, when according to the official record she would never have even met him, so should not have even registered, recognised, noticed or even remembered him.
Without MWT providing an alibi and opportunity for her to see him outside and establish who he was in relation to the Airbnb, he would just be another white foreigner.

Okay so the lady showed him 10 fingers to explain bus was coming at 10am but Jay misunderstood that bus is coming in 10 minutes. Something must have happened that he left so abruptly, maybe he heard or saw something that made him uncomfortable or he really tried to steal something whilst the guy was moving car. Either way, I don't think he is alive at this point.
I believe jay slater decided to take a moonlit beach stroll. He wandered too far and stumbled upon some shady guys with a boat. Before he knew it, he was whisked away to Morocco by drug lords. His job? Clipping their toenails to "pay off his debt."
The private investigator is putting out absolute rubbish too trying to make himself sound important the guides he's talking about came home because they weren't being paid for their services all their accommodation , and the rest of the story has moved on since this post was posted. Theres a message circulating now of Lucy explaining what's happened, whether the post is true or not. And in the message she goes into detail of apparently what happened me , plus an anonymous messages being posted telling people to look below ground and not above ground which is leading people to the tunnels that run through the mountains . All these different RUclips and tick tock investigators I really spitting out anything to sound relevant. And in a way it's hindering this.

Jay walks into the bedroom for the charger and sees the Rolex and decides Rolex and get the fck outta here. Hence not wanting a lift back. Hence the bus option. I think the goons woke up and realised the Rolex was missing and decided to go look for Jay. Jay realises they are after him and leaves the main road .. after that .. until a body is discovered and forensic analysis is done .. none of us know if he came to an accidental end or whether foul play was involved.
Finding his body is crucial to all of the above.

Has anyone seen the video by ‘crime stories obsessed’ which was put out 6 hours ago called, ‘messages from Lucy’ - very interesting, she’s messaging someone called Chloe and starts detailing how Brad was acting the idiot, Jay joined in, they took too much stuff and then lost the bag, she implied she had told two men called Mark and Jonas that the bag was lost. They wanted money, actually 38k now because of the attention they’ve brought to the situation. She says she’s scared, she doesn’t know what to do, etc and Chloe tells her to go to the police. Do you think it’s fake news? 🌺
I say more than likely fake. There's no date or time stamps, and there's no sent/seen or delivered ticks. Besides, I think if she believed for one second the messages were real she'd be going to the police with them
