This is just like my home on two or three occasions each winter. Even the snowflakes falling straight down near the house is similar, as our home (on its southern side) is so sheltered from the wind. Of course, we too can hear and see the blizzard winds in the distance. I love those stormy winter evenings. Our cat (semi-feral) still likes to venture out, returning with fresh snow on her coat.
