OPENING DAY OF HALLOWEEN AT DISNEYLAND! Food You Must Try, Characters, Merch! Disneyland Vlog 2022

- Come along with me on this very exciting first day of Halloween at Disneyland!! I wanted to check out all of the new food, characters, and seasonal offerings that Disneyland has for HalloweenTime 2022 and was able to see and try so many fantastic things!
I saw all of the new Halloween costumes for the characters and met Donald dressed up as a candy corn and Minnie dressed up as a spooky purple cat. There was also a new Halloween 2022 cavalcade that I got to check out. I tried out new seasonal food offerings including the Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew at Red Rose Tavern, Cherry & Pistachio Churro from the churro cart across from the Haunted Mansion, the Rocky Road Sundae from Gibson Girl, and the Gingerbread Skeleton Mickey and Halloween Pretzel Sticks from the Grand Californian Hotel. I also took some time to look inside of the shops for the latest merch and specifically went looking for the Donald Candy Corn Sipper, although unfortunately that hadn't arrived yet!
Overall, I had such a fun time and it was a very good start to the Halloween season at Disneyland! I hope you had fun coming along with me, thank you for watching!! xo Lisa

Omg when I was trying to put the spirit jersey on him I was struggling for a minute there...putting pants on them is the worst with their adorable but giant feet 😂 it's too bad they didn't have a Halloween set of ears because I would have bought them in a second...those Christmas ones though 👀

I love your ears Lisa, those are my current favorites! I love the drippy ghost in all of it's forms, and it's so cute with that double orange bow! Donald's costume is so adorable, I can't even handle it haha I love the other's costumes this year too. I bought that Donald/ghost pin and I was thinking of you when I saw it, I was going to send you a picture but I figured you'd see it so I'm glad you did! The droids in their costumes are really cute too! If you look closely at that pin pack, they all dressed up for Halloween 🤣
There is an older gentleman that plays the piano in the GCH lobby and he is my favorite, he told me to sing last time I was there so we sang "You've Got a Friend in Me" together and it was a really great time, I love a good crooner and he definitely fits the bill. I went back the next day and had a cocktail while watching him play for a good hour, it was so enjoyable and restorative for my soul. I don't even ride rides anymore, I just watch the live entertainment and eat all the treats 🤣
P.s. I heard the Donald sipper is at DCA only so check there next time!

I I also love that story about the piano player at the GCH, I didn't realize you could sing! I love that, it sounds like that cast member really made some Disney magic.
@@Lisaoflisaland I was sure to leave him a cast compliment because he really made my day magical, they made the cast compliment feature so easy to do on the app now! I can sing when I can get over my nerves lol 🙈I used to be a performer but I just stage manage theses days and mostly stay backstage. That same day, a sweet maid at GCH brought me skinless almonds and some treats/snacks just because she said I was very polite to her the last time I was there, and my favorite bar tender at the Hearthstone Lounge (Jeremey) made magic for me too, it was seriously a special day haha I love the genuine human connections I make and the people I meet at Disney.
That gingerbread cookie looks so yummy I need to get one asap lol! Hopefully you will find an outfit for Oogie Boogie Bash this week and meet the awesome chararcters and most importantly have an amazing time! 😊💜

Yes, more H2O! I surprise myself because I will oftentimes drink an entire gallon (or even more!) of water while I'm at Disney, but sometimes that isn't enough...especially with this heat wave. I am happy that you get to enjoy some Disney all the way from Seattle and I can't wait for you to make another trip with your sons! That's such a wonderful thing to look forward to 🤗💗

When I go to Disneyland without much sleep, I find a spot to take a nap. Either "Lincoln" or just outside a non-crowded area like the Avengers store in Hollywood Backlot.
I see people taking little naps in the hotels too, I should try and find the best nap spots at the resort! I can relate too much to not having enough sleep and being at Disney 😅

The sweatshirt looked cute. I was at Disneyland this morning and they did have a large in the sweatshirt today. The treats looked good and I wish I was going to oggie boogie. I’m sure you’ll have a blast. It was hot today at Disneyland. Nobody was there today most likely because of the heat , but more people came as I left. Keep up the amazing work.

The gingerbread Mickey cookie has been my favorite. After Christmas I usually buy two or three gingerbread to store in the freezer. you should try that.

One thing that sets your channel apart from alot of the other disney RUclipsrs is the fact that you're brave enough to engage in conversation with the characters! It reminds me of the old days in the early 90s, before the millions of rides at the parks, the characters were an attraction on their own and I love that bring that representation in your videos! So cool!
