Nearly 100% agree, though there is once scene I think a lot of people forget about during the arc with Deidra and Sasori where Team Guy all had to battle with exact clones of themselves and that was a decent Tenten moment in my opinion
You know how making clones is actually easy for ninjas? But how most don't do it because it divides their chakra? (And to keep it a Naruto thing) what if she made 2 or 3 clones in a fight? She'd throw a dozen weapons then have the clones pick them up and wield them, they would toss the weapons between each other, switching weapons to keep the enemy off balance then pull off cool combos with each other. I would enjoy such a fight.
yeah, sadly its the more disbalancead one too, 3 ninja who fight on the same style that not convey a hibrid form of strategy against secrets/hiddens techniques, if wasnt for Byakugan, surely Tenten and Lee would be death.. (im not a hater, im just pointing a argument 😅)

She literally specializes in some of the most powerful, niche jutsu disciplines in the verse....(those being sealing jutsu and taijutsu). She should have been a bigger threat and sought out a better teacher (like Sakura, Naruto and Sasuke did). Guy can't really help her improve (outside of taijutsu) and her bold outgoing personality never matched her weak physical prowess ...(nor the potential of her unique sealing abilities).

Because 1 tenten is a support character never meant to be important 2 it's really hard when you only have 1 week to think, and draw everything out while also your editor making you cut arcs short, skip arcs, stop you from killing character so you have to give them plot amor, and make so many good characters with hella potential.. it's literally hard for most mangaka to even handle writing 2-3 characters. So writing over 20 characters while also giving them important roles and writing them good is literally impossible, especially within a week.

Tente was one of the characters who could have become a weapons master who creates or summons weapons depending on the situation. There were already many weapons that everyone feared. But she was just someone who threw weapons anywhere hoping for some result.
There's a spaniard parody called Raruto in which they actually mock this, calling out how kunais and shurikens only hit ninjas for plot reasons, so specializing in them is really really stupid. One example of plot reason was the giant shuriken Mizuki throws at Naruto. In the parody, Naruto points out that it was going a bit higher so he wouldn't have gotten hit by it anyways.

See, as a way of showing her "doing something" he'll often show her helping the other girl ninjas with... whatever.... thing is... she... doesn't actually have those skills in anything but a basic comprehension sense. Advanced medical jutsus? nope! how would she even help cast a shield jutsu? Well... my head-canony explanation is that they're borrowing her chakra. We know Ten-Ten has a massive chakra pool given how she used the Seven Sage fan which would kill most people just to activate it. So the idea that people with a smaller chakra pool are just siphoning her chakra to help them cast jutsus at least makes logical sense. So... to mix that with weapon mastery I thought of something fun... let her use chakra to control weapons. Kinda of like that shadow possession thing, but for inanimate objects. So, if she throws a kunai and you dodge.... the kunai might turn in mid-air to chase you. Or just use a giant shuriken as a ranged attack in general.
But she really is a weapons expert who creates or summons weapons depending on the situation. She just uses fūinjutsu to store her huge arsenal, and throwing weapons from scrolls are her best destructive attacks, given her specialization. The author just gave her very little time to show her abilities, but Tenten is really a master in bukijutsu, and probably the best in Konoha, and only Sasuke can compare with her in kenjutsu.
I swear, if the Naruto series didn’t turn into magic eye wizards and kaiju fights, characters like Rock Lee and Tenten could’ve had some fantastic screen time with stuff like this.

If Tenten was a male character, he would have still been mostly useless and forgotten; because that's the fate of most of Naruto's side characters aside from Shikamaru and Asuma Sarutobi.

this tenten is extremely amazing ..the whole video really fits tenten's abilities as well her character. The storyboard really fits her everything...I really how the creator to put ten ten in to enhancing her martial art skills more than ever in the school of Emei in China..
I feel for Tenten. She was a good ninja in a class where being a genius was the norm. No other ninja before or since had to deal with being in the same class year as the reincarnations of Asura and Indra, the prodigies of the Hyuuga clan and the Might Guy school of martial arts respectively, the Aburame clan kid almost no one wanted to fight because he was too strong and creepy and the super genius of the Nara clan.
This just reminds me that tenten could have also been one of the greatest dealers in naruto. Imagine her upping her clone game, and using it to showing up across the battlefield with scrolls holding a full arsenal of support items. Sadly by the end it wouldnt have mattered much, and boruto decided to go faster instead of slow down, but it would have been nice to see, and it sucks that ninjas like her didn't even get any technique growth offscreen.
It would be pretty cool if there was a Tenten spinoff where they go deeper into character development and highlight her as a force to be reckoned with, without the audience comparing her to all the other characters. Kind of like the MCU produced the Black Widow in comparison to all the other superheroes. She's not someone who has crazy superpowers like the others, but it would still be cool to feel invested in her as an underdog and see her own breakthroughs.

People sleep on Tenten, but she truly is a Full-Blown Weapons Master, Not only does she have to learn how to summon all different types of weapons, but she also has to train to learn how to use all of those weapons as well. Absolute Genius.
If Boruto could have been wish fulfillment, I want to see Tenten training a group of young shinobi and helping one of them deal with the same sort of “finding your way to be happy with what you can do” stuff she dealt with, and showing that she made a better shinobi of herself for it.

Tenten is one of my favorite underused characters in Naruto so I'm always happy when she gets some love.
