Huh... weepinbell cry and bulbasaur apparently hurt. I can only imagine the possibilities. Or it was mixup of the two's voices and sweet naive bulbasaur evolves after much pain and suffering.

+Adrian Ngai just because they all evolve at the same level, doesn't mean the level up at the same pace. After all, bulbasaur did say he learned a new move and leveled up once he was captured by the human with the hitmonchan in the last episode.

+Karakara they have the same cry. Rhyhorn and Charizard also had the same cry gen 1 and i think ivysaur and weepinbell had the same cry too. Pkmn company could only fit so many cries onto a single gameboy cart
I don't understand the confusion. It's Weepinbell. Weepinbell and Ivysaur don't have even remotely similar battlecries, I even went back and double checked just to be sure I wasn't convincing myself otherwise. Hell, I fired up my own Gameboy, in my hand right now, and selected Ivysaur's cry. It's not even close.
