Japanese people are just very shy. It is extremely rare to see native Japanese people even do dance covers like this so this might be a culture shock for many there.

There's also things like privacy; a lot of times you'd need to blur out people's faces if you're going to film or certain areas, companies and buildings don't allow filming or pictures to be taken even as tourist (you have to ask ahead in time for them to even consider granting special permission to film) just to give you an idea of what it's like there. The guys dancing as Taemin and Kai caught my eyes so much. Kai dude is a super powerful center, overwhelming charisma and strong, expressive moves. Taemin boy's moves are too incredible precise and smooth to be true - also his dancing style was just Taemin like ~
not only is this the first public cover in Japan i've seen, the dance is so precise and fantastic. the level of energy in this cover like wow!! everyone was on point but taemin guy especially stood out to me a lot, so much charisma.
