guys! i found the reason why amanda is a monster. So, y'all remember the part where the director forced amanda saying "bye yell", "pie man" and "baa lamb"? Well, I tried to search it on google because of curiosity overload and i saw in WikiFandom that the words she was saying where the three demons naming "Bael, Paimon, and Balam" These words we're the reason why amanda is like this. The director had made amanda called the three devils, which had made attraction to amanda. Amanda wasn't actually bad, the director is.
Amanda got traped and discovered that the only way out is to take other people’s souls into the tapes so that is why she killed us in the game and she became so determined to do that but woolly didn’t like killing so he tried to stop her from killing the one I believe is called Riley from looking at the letter in the game.
Well really Amanda or Rebecca was possessed by a dark entity who starts to control her and even blackmail her too. When the game was first created (When you couldn't walk around) in the very first tape behind one of the bushes was a knife directed at Amanda, so maybe the entity forced her to continue the tape when she tried to turn the TV off so Y/N is safe from harm of the entity.
Let's see if I understood, the people were interviewing Amanda, she felt that they were tormenting her, that's why she felt that there was a monster inside her, but her friend Wooly came to help her, but when Amanda hugged Wooly, she scratched him, but Wooly didn't care about me like that. They decided to run to escape, but in the middle of the hall there was a guy who wouldn't let them escape, they dodged him and when they ran to the exit, Wooly realized that he didn't escape but rather got trapped inside the television and got trapped. Amanda, seeing this, was shocked but her friend Wooly knew that he would not leave her and they would be together.
They were having her voice "Amanda" in the show.. her name isn't actually Amanda, it's Rebecca, Amanda is just the characters name. Though, through some kind of occult practice, Rebeccas soul seems to be forever imprisoned inside the character "Amanda" while her original body has become the monster we see in the game.. the pieces aren't 100% put together, it's also possible that Rebecca died while doing this project with her Dad who, in his grief, tried to save her only for things to end up this way.. but that's about the gist

Rebecca (the “voice” of Amanda) got into the studio because of her father. The theory I have for this is what if the director controls like literally to Rebecca, not to herself. In one of the tapes we find, the director wanted Rebecca to say a few words from her script. Sam didn’t like it so he tried to pull Rebecca out of the room. This supports my theory
These are poor innocent souls, and I hope in the second game (they better be making a second game) that we can find a way to save them. Even if we have to wait till a third game to do so, if we can figure out a way to help Amanda and Wooly outta this trap…Then I’m all for it! ❤
