    I have a BEAUTIFUL Drum filly! She is Shire and Gypsy girl, will be very big, over 17 hands probably, but she is a buckskin with four white fluffy feet! Very sweet and smart and eager to learn and please. Love her!

    pretty boy! We don’t have enough drum horses in the states…. If I was younger and had property again I’d have bought a breeding pair! 😍🥰🤩😍

      @@HorseTVGlobalcan you tell me why they said only Shires or Clydesdales or Fresians are bred to the Gypsy Vanner to produce the Drum horses. So why not use Percherons?

    • @gigicostlow4414
      @gigicostlow4414 6 месяцев назад

      @@nicolaxoxo1 It's mainly because Percherons do not have feathering. When you cross a horse with feathering to one without, you don't get the full true feathering. You often get very little to no feathering. Another reason has to do with color patterns. In order for a drum horse to be registered it must have Gypsy along with Clydesdale or Shire in it's bloodline. It can't be any other breed including Friesians.

    You have beautiful horses. I have owned and bred gypsies here in Canada. I would like to get a team of drum horses one day.

      I'm not sure what the problem is, I can see the episode from here. The link is: ruclips.net/video/g9ZSycnNZCw/видео.html
      so it is available. Have you tried a different device or computer to see what happens? Thanks for your input!

      @@HorseTVGlobal It's their web site that says their web site cannot be reached. In fact I can't find them in Negaunee or anywhere in Michigan. It's only been a year since you posted their documentary, yet it's as if the farm has vanished. ;(

    I've heard of Gyosy Horse (Irish cob, Gyosy Vanner ect) but never heard of Gyosy Drum Horse. I guess a larger gypsy horse

    • @prettybird1978
      @prettybird1978 2 года назад

      They are not called Gypsy Drum horses. There is no such thing. They are simply Drum horses. A mix of Gypsy and either Clydesdale or Shire. They can't have more than 50% Gypsy to be in the Stud Book and no less than 8% Gypsy.

    If the horse is from Ireland, english is the primary language.
