I can only remember one other occasion where I saw that at all and that was during the IPTL exhibition on set point with Monfils against Djokovic/Zimonjic.
Court is playing super fast, what is fast court to you ? Wimbledon 99 ? Also, Federer's serve is still one of the best in the world, I don't think his serve has declined as much as his forehand
Because he took position for Fognini's return and then he noticed that the ball wasn't come to centre of his racket. Everything happened less than a second..
7:18 what a return from Roger

Blistering indeed!!!
no more bullet serve, no more monster forehand, but still win the match, thats Roger Federer....
i think it is because the court is so dame slow.

@bogdan Petrovic Absolutely, age doesn't affect the serve that much, If not at all, but his forehand has declined severely, that's for sure
It wasn't a great Federer, but experience.
@mitch dupre his forehand is shit rn compared to what it was. Prime fed forehand actually is impossible to replicate now
Thanks for the video!
The Great Roger Federer ☺️
Just the backhand return at the end..too good 😍
4:02 how did he know the ball will be out?!
Experience?
He's been playing tennis for his whole life.. He knows the ball better than his wife lol
@@blazymolds7495 Unless the ball IS his wife..?
The ball was flat n flying fast, it is obvious that it'll be out
Because he took position for Fognini's return and then he noticed that the ball wasn't come to centre of his racket. Everything happened less than a second..
2:13 Fabio Federer smashes his racquet
4:13 Absolute rocket🚀 from Federer
amazing
Thanks for making the highlights, but that "RF Highlights" logo right in the middle of the screen is extremely annoying and ruins the whole video
I think it is used to avoid copyright.
Just passing through on my journey to watch every Federer match.
The camera lens doesn't give us a realistic depth of field, which decreases the enjoyment quite considerably.
The Montreal tournament cameras were always the worst in that regard. This one’s bad too though
the quality so bad 480p in 2019 cmn man. shame on u.
your highlights make it look like federer was losing the match.
Il Maradona del tennis, la sua intelligenza tennistica non ha eguali, lascia un vuoto incolmabile.
If it weren’t for all those silly unforced errors on his backhand, RF would have had many more titles and slams
I think that's more a credit to his opponents who worked out that Roger has an Achilles heal on his back hand wing sometimes.
Fognini hahaha

Fognini con un po' più di "testa" farebbe a straccetti tutti quanti
COCCO PENSA PRIMA DI PARLARE, NON PUò BATTERE IL CAMPIONE DEI CAMPIONI...
@@alessandromiti3616 ma che cazzo dici....fognini se sta in giornata se lo faceva...si è divorato Rafa agli us open te lo sei dimenticato?
