Just like anything in life you have to go out and get it, and not wait for it. Goes for making money, love- anything. You can't just wait for it to find you, you have to work for it. If you are in that mind space you need to overwhelm yourself with happiness in something else. You need to go find that thing that will do that for you. I'm only saying this because I did it, and it works. You have to go find it and then find the things that keep a person "up". Friends, food, drinks, friends again, entertainment, roller coasters? Whatever works for you but you have to go find it. :)

I found this song the same way. I just remind myself that it wouldn’t take the pain away… it just puts all that darkness on those that love and care about you. And I’m not willing to let any loved ones feel what I feel.

My mom left too drugs were more important and a year and a half ago she fully left me by taking her own life....bad childhood, bad adulthood it all sucks but thankfully we have music to relish in and help heal us. I struggle to stay here everyday and if it wasn't for the music whether I'm playing it/writing it or attending a concert and listening to it music just makes me so happy and so does letdown. And it was an honor to meet you at pointfest hopefully I'm still here to have that chance again someday much love everyone and take care of eachother
