    As per your explanation, Shiva and Shakti are two parts the same being. The static part is Siva and active part is Shakti. Am I right?

    • @VishwaYoga
      @VishwaYoga  3 года назад

      You got it right, Shiva is pure consciousness and Shakti is pure energy, one is Prakash or light of light other is Vimarsh or Illumination power of the light, undivided.

    Can you please explain in detail the tantra tradition. I think there are many misconceptions regarding the tantra tradition as well as the aghori traditions. People need to understand the purpose & reality of these rich Indian traditions.

    There are no average women. We are direct links to Devi... which is everything. Men have stripped our reality of The Divine Feminine and objectified living goddesses. The women should return as gurus.

      lol Devi is neither Male nor Female... She Just represents The feminine Energy or the Energy*.. You are just a Mere Human created by Brahma... Your body is just a mere mix of pancha mahabhoota... Neither u are male nor Woman you are just pure bliss Conciousness

      Did I say I was Devi? Also, I find this world is so hung up on subjugating women they refuse to acknowledge Devi as feminine. Lol Vishwa even does it, completely missing the fact that no talk of non-gender is brought up when speaking about Trimurti. Just when speaking of Shakti. Open up and acknowledge the delusion of seeing women and feminine power as lesser or gaining validation based on Her relation to masculine energy. Hahaha... it's right in front of you and you're still so lost.

    please don't mix up Yoga and Tantra, the philosophy is different, Purusha is not same as Shiva, Prakriti is not same as Prakriti

    • @VishwaYoga
      @VishwaYoga  4 года назад +8

      Appreciate your comment. In my understanding Tantra without Yoga is not Tantra, so there is no question of mixing, yoga is an integral part of Tantra. The popular Sun Salutations comes from Hatha Yoga, part of Nath Tradition of Tantra. Now as far as terminology is concerned, either it is Tantra, Yoga or Veda, if you look from dualistic approach, what Tantra says Shiva and Shakti, Yoga says Purusha and Prakriti, and Veda says Brahman and Maya. These terms are simply used to convey the dualistic principle, though each one has slightly different meaning. Truth remains the same, just explained or presented differently. I will be happy to hear your thoughts and understanding.

      @@VishwaYoga i appreciate the details of your explanations on Shakti sadhana, but please be accurate with terms because in the modern world there is such a mix of all terms but they are not same!
      Sankhya : Purusha and Prakriti is dualist philosophy it give the background to Yoga (of Patanjali)
      Advaita Vedanta : Brahman and Maya is non dualist philosophy (even if there are 2 categories)
      Tantra : Shiva and Shakti in some schools is dualist, in some schools is non dualist, but anyway it is not about dualism between Shiva and Shakti but about the dualism "me and deity are 2" ou "me and deity are 1". Shiva and Shakti are never separated, they are always one.
      Regarding the Sun Salutation it is nothig in commun with Yoga of Patanjali (that we call Yoga darshan), it is even not a traditional hatha yoga practice (it was not practiced by Naths), but a decomposition of Danda pranam that was tought to the entire society in 16th-17th century (not exclusively to yogis) to improve the willpower of the people facing moghol attacs. It is more correct to say that Tantra gave birth to Hatha Yoga, it is important to precise Hatha yoga, because with out that precision, just Yoga it is the term for Patanjali Yoga, wich propose the method very different from Tantra. Please understand your responsability while using the terms, i'am teaching in the west since many years and there is such a mess in conceptions. Namaskaram

       @Yoga&Vedas Thanks for your response. I assume you are a teacher, and hopefully you understand that each teacher has their approach. So hopefully you understand that people from diverse background will watch this video. Very few will be scholars and academician, and if they are, they already know the meaning of those terms. My intent is to keep the information as simple as possible to convey the message and it’s true essence even for a new bee. If I get into the nitty gritty of terminology, the whole purpose will be defeated.
      If you are interested in Philosophy, I have those videos everyone's understanding too. Sometime some people don’t agree with the date, and miss the core essence of philosophy. It shows that they are not looking at the intent and knowledge behind philosophy but stuck in their own Vrittis or patterns of mind. Not every person watching the video even knows the “P” of Prakriti. My goal is to convey the essence in the simplest manner, and if someone will be interested to dive deep, they will find their way.
      As you know there are a lot of confusion and misunderstanding about Tantra in both East and West. My intent is to share the authentic Tantric teaching so that people have awareness, than just looking at selective practices of Tantra and calling Tantra. It’s like how Asana has become synonymous of Yoga today. But at the same time as a teacher I have to meet there where students are.
      For some Scholars Patanjali Yoga Sutra is more a Vedic text for some it is also a Tantric Text, but it is their debate, and I don’t want to get lost into that rather focus on its essence, knowledge and practices. For example Purusha, Prakriti, Shiva, Shakti, ParamShiva, SadaShiva, Advaita, Dwaita, Vishist-Adviata, Shudha Advaiata, Maya, Nirvana, Sansara etc, are concept for philosophical discussions, you can only get into them when you know your students or you are focusing on defining in philosophical manner.
      As far as Surya Namaskara reference is concerned, I saw a video about that on your channel, so I meant to refer it to Hatha yoga. Whichever date SS was designed, actually they picked the pieces of postures of Hatha Yoga and built a sequence. In Yoga Sutra, scholars are still debating if he really meant asana for those Hatha Yoga postures or just meditative postures. In my view, Yoga is not limited to just Hatha and Raja else it will be myopic view. The beauty of Tantra is - it is practices of free thinkers. I understand your intent, but as a teacher I don’t want to get stuck into technical words on informational videos, rather convey the essence. As you know there are many path or rivers merging into the one ocean. My goal is to just ignite the interest, that all. Rest divine mother will take care. 🙏
