  • Very excited for new ZP music. This single came out today and it has a cool fusiony solo with some tricky lines. Justin McKinney rules.
I am playing this in E Standard. Most of ZP's music is written using Dropped C tuning. Don't have tabs but could do a lesson if there is enough interest!
ALSO: I reactivated my gig on Fiverr.com where I can transcribe solos/riffs and help you guys learn anything! Consider checking out the gig at this link: www.fiverr.com...

I have this same guitar and I literally cannot use the trem or it will go out of tune. Have you ever had that issue?

Yea I deal with this issue at times. I don't use or trust guitars with floating bridges like this to play dimebag type shit with dives and what not, I just won't do it because in my experience they will immediately detune the guitar like you said, but I have found that I can get away with some minor movements and vibratos if I use the tremelo while I tune. So if I just tune up normally and then use the tremelo, it'll push the strings out, particularly the G, B and e. So I tune, bend the strings, tune again, play some notes and tremelo dip slightly, tune again, repeat as needed. It's a tedious process but over time I've found it helps the guitar "get used to" the tremelo being used. Idk I could be alone in this, but this has been how I prime the guitar for large bends or tremelo movement over the years. Maybe someone better educated can speak to this.
