There’s something so aestheticly pleasing about PSX graphics, and yet unsettling. I want to say it keeps the experience surreal. Almost dreamlike. Genius to bring back the design for horror.
Personally I love the sharp edges and limited geometric shaped modeling. I also love blood effects in these types of games where decaying blood on the walls and infectious looking skin looks even more disgusting with coloring than modern day detailed graphics sometimes. Nothing beats this stylization 👌🏻
originally, they were making a "Meat Cleaver Mutilator 2" that was gonna be in first person and i think was probly gonna be like "Stay Out Of The House" but was later draft and was never finished. there is 2 gameplay vids of it on their patreon where it shows the chasing and the hiding i think. kinda wished they finished it.
@@rodteabaggins thats cool to know. another thing is too, originally pdm 2 was maybe going to be called "Murder House" but i could be wrong. theres other games puppet combo talked about but never made, like "Pitchfork Massacre" and some motel/hotel game where a guy in a firefighter suit kills you, but they were both draft and never finished.
I wish this game got the Justice it deserves. It is the only puppet combo game with realistic graphics :( if only there was a filter that was able to get it to look like it’s pixels like the rest

I really like this game even though it is unfinished and shitty. Idk the potential it has is good, I kinda like the atmosphere. It lowkey gives me that claustrophobic vibe, and I like the chase music, even tho you mostly don’t hear the full theme in the video since the villans a.i is shitty, and looses track of her quickly lmao, u could search up the full chase theme. I also really like the breathing noise of his mask, it gave me the creeps. If this game was finished, it would definitely creep me out
Why the player know to collect item for win(ammo,pistol,plastic give,wood bridge) and know what to do(go 5 floor,off the fuse,collect a wooden bridge) without mission hints or map？ Can win without shoot the killer and just run for exit?

Man, the A.I. for this one is just god awful. Loses track of the girl for one second, and he already forgets where she is, 10/10.
I like puppet combos player models. They’re shit, but in a good way.
Severely underrated game, I hope PC continues development in the future.

Yeah, I think they later on used MCM 2's map for The Riverside Incident as well.
