The reason Obi-wan would be more powerful when he died is because when a force user is in complete balance when they die they become a force ghost. Which is basically just being one with the force in general.
And depending on the Locations force ghosts appear, mainly in a planet or area with strong force: the stronger the force around them are. I know people don't like the new movies but expanding on the force was fascinating.

Jedi can see into the future, read minds, and can control people and objects with their mind. Jedi are pretty fucking OP. They're not just fast, they can act before you while knowing exactly what you're about to do. Kakashi's ability to copy actions and act simultaneously is inferior.

@@Aaroncarter95 Idk, I think Naruto himself (while using Six Paths Sage Mode + Kurama Chakra Mode, or even just Sage Mode + Kurama Mode) at the end of Shippuden could overwhelm a Jedi/Obi-Wan with sheer power before he runs out of his enormous, ungodly amount of stamina and chakra reserves. On top of that he has sensory abilities comparable to a Jedi in that state, faster than light speed reaction times, natural protection from most physical attacks from the chakra cloak if he happens to get hit and automatic injury healing including lethal blows. Not to mention, I don’t see a Jedi like Obi-Wan being able to survive or run the distance to dodge one of the larger Tailed Beast Bombs if Naruto launched one from the air.

Yea that's pretty much right. This was back when they were known as the blood mist village as they did some pretty horrible things to ensure only the strongest grew up. If they're willing to eliminate other villagers in order to ensure only the strongest soldiers then they certainly didn't bat an eye at using a little child as a weapon.
Singularities in terms of space is the middle of the black hole that breaks down time and space as we know it into pure absence. Even a miniature one is ALWAYS ridiculously powerful. (I think Vsauce made a video on gravity’s interactions on time and visa-versa if you want more info) As for tiny black holes, the gravity well they generate is equally deep, yes, but with a much smaller radius. The force of gravity is exponentially smaller as the distance from the center grows, so you’d be fine from even a few feet away from certain black holes. In fact, you create quantum sized ones just from the sound of your voice, but they aren’t strong enough and don’t last long enough to have much effect.

The death battle your thinking of was Luke Skywalker vs Harry Potter, and Harry got destroyed. Although that was season 1 rules, not the ironed out rules first implemented in season 3, starting with Dante vs Bayonetta. They actually list the 4 rules they use during the credits of every Death Battle.

This is actually the first episode you've reacted to where the animation was actually done in sfm, and one of the 3 animators who made it is actually Devil Artimus, so it's kind of funny that you've compared it to his animations. The start of this battle is weirdly out of character. These are 2 of the most level-headed people in their respective universes. Obi-Wan is an accomplished diplomat and Kakashi is a GENIUS. Most likely, they would have talked things out and gone their separate ways.
Yeah Anakin was really damn powerful. Obi-Wan was only able to hold out against him , because of his specifics fighting style. If it hadn't been for that Anakin probably would have slaughtered him. The movies don't really show his power that well
Reason rin jumped in front of kakashi's chidori: the most village kidnapped her and basically forced her to turn into a jinchuriki (a person with a tailed beast sealed in them. Like kurama in Naruto or shukaku in gaara) by sealing the 3 tailed beast into her to unleash it in the leaf village. She didn't want that to happen so she sacrificed herself to stop it from happening.
Kakashi, even though I don't care about Naruto, is one of my favorite characters in fiction. He's just great. He was also more just depressed than being an edge lord, but he's real chill despite his appearance. A lot of people hated that he lost even if it was clearly a mismatch.
How does everyone forget when Maul had the high ground against Kenobi he still beat Maul and that is why he knew Anakin was going to jump over and behind him

“I thought this was based on the comics?” Actually most of the Star Wars comics are canon. At least in the Legends continuity which this DB uses for Obi-Wan. Disney caused a reboot making most previously canon material a separate continuity but they all started in the films. It’s a little confusing since some things are canon to *both* continuities. For example, Clone Wars Season 1-5 are Legends continuity but all of them are Disney continuity.

Death Battle also conveniently left out Kakashi’s feats in Kakashi retsuden after he lost his sharingan and focused on his other moves, making a near city long mud wall for multiple days which was constantly under attack, as well as making purple lightning which was just a stronger chidori which didn’t give the user tunnel vision. Obi-Wan still beats him but it would’ve been a closer fight
They should've calced the energy needed to yeet a fleet of Star Destroyers at relativistic speed, I mean that's around moon-busting at minimum 😆 And both Obi and Anakin scale to that feat

Honestly this death battle is heavily one sided. One side has seen power equal or relative to black holes as known feats while another saw destroying a mountain as big time power until the end of the war arc. Most of Naruto scales to large continent to planet level(i mean the stronger people) while even weaker Jedi have enough strength to cause huge holes in a planet. To put this more in scale, the strongest group of people in Naruto(as in together) high ball to mountain destroying in power while some lower level Jedi have seen that in normal combat. Yea this fight was already over the minute it was announced if you knew anything about both sides.
Yeah, this is a very obvious fight to people who have seen both. I personally like Kakashi more than Obi-wan, mostly for his abilities. But yeah, pretty clear Kakashi was going to lose. I kinda love how confused you got when you were hearing about Kakashi, and his abilities. Also the was a kid Kakashi and kid Guy when you said Lee. Also you've seen all but one of the star wars fights. Harry Potter vs Luke Skywalker (Luke won.) And Darth Vader vs Dr. Doom (Dr. Doom won.)
I woulsnt say SEEN both. The Star Wars movies, and I think the TV shows for that matter, REALLY undersell what Jedi are actually capable of. When I first heard about this battle, I fully expected Kakashi to completely stomp Obi-Wan because I'd only seen the movies and some of the tv shows, but then I heard Obi-Wan's feats and knew it was going the other way. The closest thing to the comic and novel feats I'd ever seen before this battle was Star Killer struggling to pull a Star Destroyer from orbit in the first Force Unleashed game, but I never really counted that as canon.
Funny thing is, some of Obi-Wan's biggest wins were when he was below an enemy - Darth Maul, Grievous, and Anakin. If anything, he's secretly master of the LOW ground.
To answer your question about why Rin made Kakashi kill her... she was experimented on and had a giant three tailed turtle demon inside her and their enemies wanted to use her as a living weapon of mass destruction.
The number of lightsabers someone can use depends on the number of hands they have and what style they use. some force users like darth traya use 3 lightsabers she had 1 of her hands cut off and when she was a jedi her master taught her to use the force to wield lightsabers in combat and her master was the same species as yoda and he was able to wield 6 or 8 lightsabers at a time and he used his abilities and long lifespan to clean up crime on multiple planets defeating many criminal organizations.
About that finger butt thing. It’s a common child’s prank. Also he was 26 when it happened. Naruto tried to do the same attack to him two and a half years later.

I know this is way too late to be relevant, but Anakin was able to kill his own master because Obi-Wan chose to let himself be killed, both to motivate Luke, and because he'd learned how to maintain his personality and sense of self in the Force in death, becoming a Force ghost, who could then help Luke more than he ever could as a decrepit old man.
Obi is ridiculously OP so this win was no surprise. He only died was when he decided to sacrifice himself and even then, it was only to make himself more powerful.
While there are star to even solar system level scaling in Naruto these characters are all six paths or higher on the tier while on star wars ( legends and expanded universe material ) star level sith and Jedi are actually not so uncommon ( hell one sith literally manipulated two stars to make sure no one could find his base of operation )
Those are rather extreme high balls and exaggerations. The most consistent scaling in God tier Naruto is planet level. Yes a lot of characters could probably get to star or even solar system in power but the time needed for that, along with the chakra required, would be so huge they'll die before it happens. Either in combat or age if you're talking solar system. Unless they're immortal or can keep resetting their life it's unlikely most shinobi will get past large planet level. Oh btw planet level is rather vague. Earth is much easier to destroy that Saturn or Jupiter but they're all planets. Still if they can't blow up.a planet then they certainly can't blow up a star.
the ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the force. that should tell you how crazy force users could potentially get to, though with a lot of variation

o obi wans strike me down. he basically became one with life. like a ghost. and using the force to live on and teach. this ia a jedi's most powerfull move if u think about it. also obi wan in that scene saw leia and luke together and knew. they won. so he died peacefully.
@@hermannmakuta3311 Wouldn't work, Kamui makes you quite literally untouchable and it is automatic. Obito avoided attacks he literally never saw coming as they were entirely outside his field of vision. The only exception is if he's actively trying to absorb someone and even then you need to be EXTREMELY fast to land a hit. Unless you have an ally that can get sucked into his kamui to attack him when he tries to pass through things, he's basically untouchable. That strategy won't work on Kakashi though, cause he just wouldn't absorb someone, he's far too strong to need to rely on that. He'd make maximum use of Kamui, snipe off just your head and dodge attacks, and use his other abilities to fight normally. His attacks with Susano'o also cannot be blocked by anything, as anything he hits gets sucked into Kamui. If Obi Wan got sucked in he could just leave him there until he starves to death. Or eject him from Kamui directly into a big ol pit of lava. Technically I'm pretty sure he could make a clone, go to the bottom of the ocean, eject him and then just poof the clone. Obi Wan can't breath underwater, even assuming he could survive the pressures. Obi Wan might be able to ignore the ranged Kamui if only by just crushing Kakashi's organs with the force, but if he can't actually interact with Kakashi's body..... he really can't do anything to stop Kakashi from killing him. All the firepower in the universe doesn't matter if you can't land a hit. And Obi Wan's body isn't sturdy enough to tank a lightning blade to the chest. Even assuming somehow Obi Wan managed to drag the fight out long enough for Kakashi to get tired, he could just go into Kamui, rest up and then come back and slit Obi Wan's throat in his sleep. Kakashi can teleport anywhere he wants with Kamui so..... yeah, can't really keep him out. Kamui is kinda broken as fuck with both eyes.

So him doing that to kakashi is easier said than done, something he never done before, so I don’t think he’ll be able to do it perfectly against a moving target trying to kill him.
Aww, you're seeing this before actually watching Star Wars. Then again it is a monster to go through considering that the franchise isn't restricted to just the movies (Despite what the EU-haters will have you believe). Currently there are 12 movies, multiple TV shows on Disney+ and that's not even counting the video games that add extra details of this universe even before Disney retconned Jacen Solo into Ben Solo.

He was a mass murderer who struck down hundreds, if not thousands, of Jedi younglings (literal children) and also was part of a plot to kidnap and brainwash babies to serve Darth Sidious (the galactic Emperor, the Senate, and the lord of the Sith) who is basically Space Hitler with dark magic and legendary lightsaber skills. A minuscule portion of Vader's long list of deeds: literal Jedi hunting, regicide, overthrowing entire governments, various war crimes, enforcing galactic oppression, mass murder (direct & indirect). But the character is also super cool (massively popular) so people acknowledge the terrible stuff, while still being huge Vader fanatics (Vader IS the most popular character in Star Wars).

You can not comprehend how happy I am seeing you react to this. This is actually the first episode you've reacted to where the animation was actually done in sfm, and one of the 3 animators who made it is actually Devil Artimus, so it's kind of funny that you've compared it to his animations.
Fun fact, before this episode, the latest episode involving a Star Wars character was Darth Vader vs Dr Doom, which came out 5 years prior, so many cheered that Star Wars returned after so long, and that the episode was so damn good, it's also one of the few episodes that I'm aware of that made over a million views in the first day of it being uploaded.

The start of this battle is weirdly out of character. These are 2 of the most level-headed people in their respective universes. Obi-Wan is an accomplished diplomat and Kakashi is a GENIUS.

Yeah Anakin was really damn powerful. Obi-Wan was only able to hold out against him , because of his specifics fighting style. If it hadn't been for that Anakin probably would have slaughtered him.

Reason rin jumped in front of kakashi's chidori: the most village kidnapped her and basically forced her to turn into a jinchuriki (a person with a tailed beast sealed in them. Like kurama in Naruto or shukaku in gaara) by sealing the 3 tailed beast into her to unleash it in the leaf village. She didn't want that to happen so she sacrificed herself to stop it from happening.

Kakashi, even though I don't care about Naruto, is one of my favorite characters in fiction. He's just great. He was also more just depressed than being an edge lord, but he's real chill despite his appearance. A lot of people hated that he lost even if it was clearly a mismatch.

Actually most of the Star Wars comics are canon. At least in the Legends continuity which this DB uses for Obi-Wan. Disney caused a reboot making most previously canon material a separate continuity but they all started in the films. It’s a little confusing since some things are canon to *both* continuities. For example, Clone Wars Season 1-5 are Legends continuity but all of them are Disney continuity.
2:20 - That's the Cartoon Network Clone Wars show that came out before the Disney one. It was made by the same people who made Samurai Jack, and the entire show's only about 3 hours long or so, but it's pretty good.

Death Battle also conveniently left out Kakashi’s feats in Kakashi retsuden after he lost his sharingan and focused on his other moves, making a near city long mud wall for multiple days which was constantly under attack, as well as making purple lightning which was just a stronger chidori which didn’t give the user tunnel vision. Obi-Wan still beats him but it would’ve been a closer fight
They should've calced the energy needed to yeet a fleet of Star Destroyers at relativistic speed, I mean that's around moon-busting at minimum 😆

Remember way, way back when I said something along the lines of "oh, this was back before they realised how strong star wars characters are" in Harry vs luke? Yeah, this is what I meant.
Honestly this death battle is heavily one sided. One side has seen power equal or relative to black holes as known feats while another saw destroying a mountain as big time power until the end of the war arc. Most of Naruto scales to large continent to planet level(i mean the stronger people) while even weaker Jedi have enough strength to cause huge holes in a planet. To put this more in scale, the strongest group of people in Naruto(as in together) high ball to mountain destroying in power while some lower level Jedi have seen that in normal combat.

Yeah, this is a very obvious fight to people who have seen both. I personally like Kakashi more than Obi-wan, mostly for his abilities. But yeah, pretty clear Kakashi was going to lose.

I woulsnt say SEEN both. The Star Wars movies, and I think the TV shows for that matter, REALLY undersell what Jedi are actually capable of. When I first heard about this battle, I fully expected Kakashi to completely stomp Obi-Wan because I'd only seen the movies and some of the tv shows, but then I heard Obi-Wan's feats and knew it was going the other way. The closest thing to the comic and novel feats I'd ever seen before this battle was Star Killer struggling to pull a Star Destroyer from orbit in the first Force Unleashed game, but I never really counted that as canon.
Some people think that the Star Wars Prequels’ dialogue was horrible. But without it… our memes wouldn’t exist.
Funny thing is, some of Obi-Wan's biggest wins were when he was below an enemy - Darth Maul, Grievous, and Anakin. If anything, he's secretly master of the LOW ground.
To answer your question about why Rin made Kakashi kill her... she was experimented on and had a giant three tailed turtle demon inside her and their enemies wanted to use her as a living weapon of mass destruction.

The number of lightsabers someone can use depends on the number of hands they have and what style they use. some force users like darth traya use 3 lightsabers she had 1 of her hands cut off and when she was a jedi her master taught her to use the force to wield lightsabers in combat and her master was the same species as yoda and he was able to wield 6 or 8 lightsabers at a time and he used his abilities and long lifespan to clean up crime on multiple planets defeating many criminal organizations.
Kreia use 5 sabers and only has the use of one hand.

There's two Clone Wars. The 3d one and the '03 Clone Wars. The '03 was a hand-drawn animated set of shorts and its artstyle was used for a comic series. It's unclear how much of it is still Canon, but everything that is not directly conflicting with more recent material typically is considered Canon.
The entirety of the 03 clone wars is confirmed to be non canon ever since Disney bought Lucasfilm.

I know this is way too late to be relevant, but Anakin was able to kill his own master because Obi-Wan chose to let himself be killed, both to motivate Luke, and because he'd learned how to maintain his personality and sense of self in the Force in death, becoming a Force ghost, who could then help Luke more than he ever could as a decrepit old man.
Obi is ridiculously OP so this win was no surprise. He only died was when he decided to sacrifice himself and even then, it was only to make himself more powerful.

While there are star to even solar system level scaling in Naruto these characters are all six paths or higher on the tier while on star wars ( legends and expanded universe material ) star level sith and Jedi are actually not so uncommon ( hell one sith literally manipulated two stars to make sure no one could find his base of operation )
Those are rather extreme high balls and exaggerations. The most consistent scaling in God tier Naruto is planet level. Yes a lot of characters could probably get to star or even solar system in power but the time needed for that, along with the chakra required, would be so huge they'll die before it happens. Either in combat or age if you're talking solar system. Unless they're immortal or can keep resetting their life it's unlikely most shinobi will get past large planet level.
Oh btw planet level is rather vague. Earth is much easier to destroy that Saturn or Jupiter but they're all planets. Still if they can't blow up.a planet then they certainly can't blow up a star.
If you ever wonder how Jedi are able to pull off some of their incredible abilities, the answer is usually: By using the force.
the ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the force. that should tell you how crazy force users could potentially get to, though with a lot of variation

@@hermannmakuta3311 Wouldn't work, Kamui makes you quite literally untouchable and it is automatic. Obito avoided attacks he literally never saw coming as they were entirely outside his field of vision. The only exception is if he's actively trying to absorb someone and even then you need to be EXTREMELY fast to land a hit. Unless you have an ally that can get sucked into his kamui to attack him when he tries to pass through things, he's basically untouchable.
That strategy won't work on Kakashi though, cause he just wouldn't absorb someone, he's far too strong to need to rely on that. He'd make maximum use of Kamui, snipe off just your head and dodge attacks, and use his other abilities to fight normally.
His attacks with Susano'o also cannot be blocked by anything, as anything he hits gets sucked into Kamui. If Obi Wan got sucked in he could just leave him there until he starves to death. Or eject him from Kamui directly into a big ol pit of lava. Technically I'm pretty sure he could make a clone, go to the bottom of the ocean, eject him and then just poof the clone. Obi Wan can't breath underwater, even assuming he could survive the pressures.
Obi Wan might be able to ignore the ranged Kamui if only by just crushing Kakashi's organs with the force, but if he can't actually interact with Kakashi's body..... he really can't do anything to stop Kakashi from killing him. All the firepower in the universe doesn't matter if you can't land a hit. And Obi Wan's body isn't sturdy enough to tank a lightning blade to the chest.
Even assuming somehow Obi Wan managed to drag the fight out long enough for Kakashi to get tired, he could just go into Kamui, rest up and then come back and slit Obi Wan's throat in his sleep. Kakashi can teleport anywhere he wants with Kamui so..... yeah, can't really keep him out. Kamui is kinda broken as fuck with both eyes.
@@hermannmakuta3311 I wouldn’t really even say he could do it tbh because we never actually seen kenobi do it or practice because moves in Star Wars like you actually have to learn them and use them before they can become a move for you. So him doing that to kakashi is easier said than done, something he never done before, so I don’t think he’ll be able to do it perfectly against a moving target trying to kill him.

Then again it is a monster to go through considering that the franchise isn't restricted to just the movies (Despite what the EU-haters will have you believe). Currently there are 12 movies, multiple TV shows on Disney+ and that's not even counting the video games that add extra details of this universe even before Disney retconned Jacen Solo into Ben Solo.
