I don't believe that a black man, in today's world, is going to point a gun at an officer! He saw the gun resting on his passenger seat or, just lucky that man was actually was carrying a CCW!!

Everything the officer said and did that day was uncharacteristic of an officer..not reporting a man waving a gun..following a suspect without calling for back up..using a high powered weapon on an individual..before calling for help..these actions are indicative of a rogue..a hot dogger..an egoistic egotistical cop..judging by the fifty jobs that the officer had..this would indicate arrogance or over qualification to the point of self grandeur..the point is..all that training and all those jobs would make one almost fearless..the Middle East and what not..but the officer claims to fear for his life when he alleged the young man pointed his conceal and carry weapon at him..why then didn't his backup follow him to the young man's home?..and why did the officer hesitate to shoot if he was already threatened?and when did he have time to suit up?..unlock and such..too much time has elapsed..where is the gun in this frame?..if the young man knew the marshal was there..why would he take the time to open the screen door, and put the key in the door with a hand full of sandwiches..the officer had his weapons locked up,but why did he grab a high powered weapon instead of the smaller caliber..he thought he was going to die?..all that military training and he froze..got scared..so the young man running away would've run past the house instead of holding sandwiches and keys and a firearm..three things to juggle while running away and trying to get in the house..nothing past the little video can be proven as true..so the young man was turning and aiming?..I don't know..that in itself is far fetched..so the young man had buds on,and hands full..the officer then stalked him and shot him..instead of letting the young man enter the home, then getting Columbus to surround the home and go in..the officer shot..there is no proof of anything past that video of the car turning..this officer's arrogance and reckless behavior will be his undoing..this "situation" should've been handled by the Columbus police department period..now a young man is dead because of arrogance..and anyway..the officer had to shoot and kill him..how else could he explain his reckless behavior and actions..the officer didn't see his firearm until after the officer shot him at his house..should've called the Columbus police department period..the cpd has people who can think things through and assess situations better than a lone wolf where are the other officers..while this whacky chase is going on..all over america..these little task force units always kill or use too much force..there's always one lone wolf..Meade will swing for this..

Is the person Casey passed in the white car going to testify? Did they see Casey holding up a gun? They were the next vehicle he passed. It wouldn’t make any sense for him to randomly point a gun at one car and not another.
(Remember it was an under cover vehicle so Casey wouldn’t have known it was law enforcement)

He didn't have his police flasher lights on, and after he viciously and recklessly killed Casey Goodson, he went back out to his truck and turned the lights on to give the impression that they were on all along. This is incriminating. It's really crazy that black people are hunted by police. But wow....firing into a house with an AR15 automatic rifle where a 3-year-old girl is walking around is beyond absurd. There are no words for this kind of action. This would never have happened in a white neighborhood.

I'm curious to hear the other two officer's story that was on the scene when Meade supposed to have put on his vest and chased Goodson down. Why did they not initially back him up if he was after a suspect that was supposedly armed when exiting his vehicle. It's not common practice that cops will leave their fellow officer to face a suspect especially a supposedly armed man on his own.

    • @annebfaith6373

The Prosecution is ripping him apart on the stand. Jason initially said Casey stopped and waived a gun at him and the traffic video shows Casey never stopped and Jason had to admit that he lied about that on the stand. The Prosecutor said he conjured up the whole story. This is a bombshell! Then what did him in and almost certainly guarantees a conviction is Jason is seen on video going back out to his truck during the chaos of the scene and turning on his police flashers. This means they were not on when he was pursuing Casey, which he also admitted. Jason also said he hunts people. When asked how he felt after he shot Casey, he said he just ruined his son's birthday and showed no remorse for Casey or his family. He also changed his initial statement and tried to say Casey was running from him. The evidence so far indicates that Casey never saw or heard Jason. Once you get caught in a lie, nothing else you say can be trusted. Jason has been caught in several lies with no way out.

  • @mizezdavis

He was that far away that he had to drive to catch up with him but could clearly see a gun. Just like he saw a gun as Casey is going like 10 miles/hr turning that corner for .3 seconds. This cop was out for some action

24:30 - Jason states he went after Casey because it was his “lawful duty” and that he didn’t know what kind of safety risk Casey posed… However, according to the Supreme Court he has no “lawful duty” to protect the safety of any citizens. Castle Rock V. Gonzalez 545 U.S. 748

Based on my training and experience which is generic even if they haven’t trained on that subject at all. “Had a white powdery substance under his nose, based on my training and experience people engaged in illegal activity will powder their noses quite often” leaves the jury thinking these guys are heavily trained. Even though he came from being a telemarketer .

I think he was in the car listening to music. Probably playing or acting with his gun to a certain song. Why the officer said pumping and saying something.
But I don't think he pointed the gun at him at all....in the car or especially at the door.
He had to lock his car door with key, cause no key fob. So he obviously wasn't fleeing and where was the gun then if he had sandwiches in his hand also. Then at the door, if he had sandwiches and keys to unlock the door. Where was the gun?
