I saw your fish pics on Colgroves Facebook last week and was looking forward to the videos. Stopped by the Musky Shop to pick up some Custom X mini's and couldn't find any so I ordered a couple from Chaos Tackle's website. Placed order on Sunday night and the lures were at my house Tuesday when I got home from work, awesome service !! Ironically the colors of lures I ordered were the Eagle and Cisco patterns but in the 12 inch aluminum lip version, nice looking solidly built lures. I have sharpened the hooks and upgraded the split rings and will have them in the water on Eagle lake next week.
Very bummed with my custom X big and small mini with the aluminum lip need to do something better with the epoxy in the one screw holding it just barely touch the rocks but you should be able to do with a crankbait and both are loose and the lip Wiggles back and forth I watched Lee work them at the Chicago Muskie show and bought two need to do something about that lip I only have the aluminum ones try it out how I'm going to figure out how to fix them
I love that you actually measure your fish, makes it fun to watch! Great vid!
Gold is all I throw on Eagle Lake. And the Bondy Bait, walleye color, never fails!
gingerwood1969 Gold and black is the money maker on Eagle!

Craig Stulgin Sorry to hear. Contact Rick Albers either on the Chaos Tackle Facebook page or email him at info@chaostackle.com
What’s your rod/red set up for throwing the custom x?
Austin Padgett I'm using a 9 ft Surgical Strike Assault Stick with a Shimano tranx 400 HG.
Got it. I was thinking of getting a SWAT for Posseidons, mid medussas, and potentially some jigging. Should that handle it okay?
When you cut the hooks do you remove them from the fish? Thanks
John Capilupo If possible, I will always try to remove any pieces of the hooks from the fish.
Yeah boy!!!
6:29 dudes gassed after reeling in a fish
Jake Erwin excitement and nerves probably contributes more to the heavy breathing that I assume you're referring to.
