You’ll just be more prone to getting hit by his attacks because if you block, he can M2 and either use catastrophe, tp move or mirror of misfortune. Just keep moving and dashing, of course when your far away you have to block but not really long and don’t block in close range.
That and predicting your opponent is quite useful. I’m a wind user and I have to time my attacks right otherwise I’ll get bodied,especially against moon I would preblock at a certain distance away and they would usually use that really fast split attack and I’m already blocking.
