Pre spawn Crappie At Mermet Lake

im thinking about going up there n fishing one day.. how deep is it? did you have trouble with you outboard being shallow

The deepest it gets is around 8 feet, with an average at about 3-1/2 feet. Mermet is a no wake lake for motors over 10 hp. I raise my motor to about 1/2 trim to access most of my fishing spots. Those crappie were caught in 2 feet of water. Thanks for watching our channel.
