- The Enterprise is an amusement ride, manufactured primarily by HUSS Park Attractions and Anton Schwarzkopf beginning in 1972. The HUSS ride was an adaptation and improvement of a design produced earlier that year by Schwarzkopf, with an increased passenger capacity. Despite not owning the original incarnation of the ride, HUSS was issued the patent.

Beautiful Huss enterprise and yes its a knockoff! BUT!!!! Huss was/is one of the best park & traveling amusement ride manufacturers of the 80's/90's loved their flipper machine, their frisbee, the condor & the old pirate ships that came with full scenery & queues built onto a front platform for some rides... Also their rainbow machines & how about the Top spin! Million dollar ride that takes four truck&trailers to move! Same for the great flipper they traveled with four trucks as well. Just awesome works of art!!! This enterprise belongs to an independent operator I imagine and books with strates shows quite a bit for bigger fair events. Not 100% but I assume its an accurate guess... keep up the great work buddy love the content.
knockoff, yes, but a great ride and they deserve the credit. thank you so much, I have always been fascinated by rides, still am! I never see the giant Frisbee traveling here, my favorite by far! yes, owned by wade shows, just wintering here!

This ride threw a gondola at the state fair of Texas in 1983.
I was there the very next day.
It was moved to Galveston Texas and re-named "Orion".
25 years later I rode it at the state fair of Oklahoma. It's now owned and operated by Wade Shows.
This is a 1974 Huss Enterprise.

I was at the State Fair of Texas in 1983 when the Enterprise threw a gondola. It killed 2 people and paralyzed one rider.
I was surprised when I rode it that there is nothing holding you in except the g force lol

@@topofthepalm yep the change of the Huss in 2005 ish changed everything. Now I'm sure parts are more difficult. Seems all the huss are being removed. I don't blame them....but still. This ride was everything. Valleyfair in Minnesota had one and driving up to the gates it was amazing to see it rise...inviting you to a good time....now there is a star flyer ride there...lame

Also I had pushed send before adding my favorite Huss traveling marvel is the Break dance themed of Decca Dance! It is privately owned and operated by One of the most dedicated showmen on the planet! They also operate a booster if Im not mistaken but their Breakdance (DeccaDance) is THE BEST TRAVELING OR PARK MODEL BREAKDANCE ON OUR PLANET! WHEN THEY SAY ITS #1 THEY MEAN IT!!! WHEN YOU RIDE DOUBLE D IT WARPS YOU INTO ANOTHER DIMENSION AND YOU SUDDENLY FEEL INVINCIBLE! LIKE YOU CAN FLY AND LIKE YOUR THE KING OF THE WORLD! THAT IS THE KIND OF RIDE EXPERIENCES A TRUE SHOWMAN CAN PROVIDE WHEN HE TAKES CARE OF EVERY ASPECT OF HIS MACHINE. I have, more than once lol. Longest time a ferris wheel malfunctioned, it was a double ferris wheel and was stuck on the top wheel for over an hour
