- *In Japan, the patty itself is called a hamburg (hanbāgu).
It cost 258 yen. 96 calories. No artificial colours. No preservatives. It includes chicken and pork in a part of raw materials. It tasted like real hamburger, bun, cheese, ketchup, french fries and cola. It tasted good.
*It is the microwavable container. You can't put the ordinary plastic container into the microwave.

Just an FYI for anyone watching this video to make the kit, most Japanese microwaves run between 500-660 watts, American microwaves DO NOT. Generally ours run from 900-1200 watts, so don't microwave it for 30 seconds or it'll most likely get burned. Start with 15, and microwave for 5 second intervals if it's not quite done.

bowmen08 No, they just don't equate properly. Just give it alittle under half the videos time, and blast for five seconds afterwards until done.

When I made this, I put the ketchup in the cup instead of the drink...
i did that too at first ! i put the powder in the cup then i realised it kinda smelled ketchupy so i put it in the little mixing thing, but then i failed with the cola and i added water to the powder and it didnt turn out as well as adding powder to water :(

I've tried this kit before and I was just amazed at how realistic the end result was. Of course the taste was similar to the real thing, but so was the texture! To think that everything started off as a powder...

I just tried it I got the cola and ketchup powder mixed up but the burger was okay and had a weird after taste for a second the cola tasted like coke zero which I didn't mind. But it was kinda difficult getting everything the way it is supposed to be. Overall the kit was easy to understand even though I couldn't read it. There is a store in San Francisco that sell these kits.

There's a part of me that watches this and thinks, "Wow, this is pretty cool!" Then there's another side of me thinking, "Wow, that's a lot of instructions and work for something that you're going to eat. For all the work it takes, why not make the real thing?"

I actually just got some of these and the hamburger actually tastes like a hamburger. They're not at all sweet like candy and it really surprised me. I got a bunch of poppin cookin stuff for my 9 year old daughter. We had a blast making them. I'm just so glad you made this video so we could follow along and not mess up!
