I know right. The rawness in the performance is clearly visible. Ben's toned down a lot these days with regards to his performance/stage presence compared to this. Cool to hear just his vocals without the layers/harmonies.
Nah their performance on fuse is way better. They actually perform the full song there. But this is still good. The video I'm talking about has 1.3mil views and is from 15 years ago.
@9TheManiac His name is Kevin Soffera, he was on tour with them from June-August 2004, and was then replaced by B.C. Vaught until Chad Szeliga was hired as the full-time drummer in early 2005.
Man, i love new, but it's not the same, this may sound the same to you, because you maybe are not musician. What is the same is Ben's vocal and rhythm part of guitar.
+Rafael Sanchez they're all replaceable except for the singer. that goes for any band. it's not like they are playing anything complicated that a teenager couldn't do.
Am I the only one who really admires Aaron as a player? He's definitely not Joe Satriani of Paul Gilbert, but he's one of the better modern guitarists I know.
Don't take that as an argument, Tool haven't had a record since 2006 and they are still around. Plus, Chad has confirmed quite some times that they did not break up. Just be patient, BB will return big time! ;)
If Aaron and Mark didn't go behind Ben's back and sell the digital version of the Blow Me Away song without his permission, they would probably still be there...very underhanded by them and a stab in the back to Ben if you ask me...pretty crappy and sneaky...
VIEJO BEN. TOTEELA! Calles Atestadas,Despejadas a lo lejos. Uno Por Uno. Heroes huecos se separan, Segun como corran. Tu estas tan frio Conserva tu mano sobre la mia. Hombres sabios se preguntan mientras hombres fuertes mueren.
@Doomon15 every artists sounds different from the album to live... and he had a major lung diseas during that whole year and i think for a few after that too...
vXAudioOutlawXv Tbh, I think it's because the rest adds too much. Back then, it was just Ben creating all, but the drums. He created riffs, maybe Aaron (Fink) and Mark changed a bit, but I'm not sure. The new group adds lyrics, changes it, changes riffs. It's good, and I love it alot. But old Breaking Benjamin had a way different sound. Not only tone-wise. It's like comparing two different bands. But I mean, what can we say? At least we have Ben, and at least he has great ass band members.
Ameer Sbeih the new lineup added what ben has wanted to do with the band for years that he couldn’t with the old members, he wanted to have a more dynamic sound, with three guitarists and Aaron and Keith singing backup it helps Bens voice as he’s not the sole singer anymore.
Ben's voice is truly fantastic. He is one of the most talented male vocals i've heard in a long time
The nü metal/post grunge era is strong with these outfits
spy :o
I absolutely love watch Aaron play this
Best So cold live ever.
I know right. The rawness in the performance is clearly visible. Ben's toned down a lot these days with regards to his performance/stage presence compared to this. Cool to hear just his vocals without the layers/harmonies.
Almost as good as the cover by Straightaway... (One of my uploads)
Nah their performance on fuse is way better. They actually perform the full song there. But this is still good. The video I'm talking about has 1.3mil views and is from 15 years ago.
That transition into the chorus at 1:51 is SPOT fucking on.
I mainly like this video because I get to see his face as he hits those cool notes in the chorus.
Their best performance yet! Breaking Benjamin forever!
@0:15 that fucking face though. Feeling that shit!!!
There's something in this performance i cant stop watching it
I miss the old BB

I love this song and ben's transformers shirt
I miss Aaron and Mark very much. (( New BB stuff is great, but old is better in my opinion. They just have so much style in their playing.
Rafael Sanchez Get used to it. It's still the same just different people with the exception of Ben.
Man, i love new, but it's not the same, this may sound the same to you, because you maybe are not musician. What is the same is Ben's vocal and rhythm part of guitar.
SKAR Venegas BTW, this main riff in this song was written by Mark (bassist).
ok?
+Rafael Sanchez they're all replaceable except for the singer. that goes for any band. it's not like they are playing anything complicated that a teenager couldn't do.
I’ve always wondered... who is this drummer? Because it isn’t chad, nor Jeremy. Unless I’m blind.
Old Band and the New Band...2 MONSTERS!!!!!!! ALWAYS GOOD!
Is it weird that I'm laughing my ass off at his facial expressions?
I love him though.
My favorite by this band
Am I the only one who really admires Aaron as a player? He's definitely not Joe Satriani of Paul Gilbert, but he's one of the better modern guitarists I know.

BEN'S FACE AT 3:27-3:30 IS HILARIOUS!!!!

Boy oh boy do they fucking rock!!!!!

Don't take that as an argument, Tool haven't had a record since 2006 and they are still around. Plus, Chad has confirmed quite some times that they did not break up. Just be patient, BB will return big time! ;)
I wish they'd play the long intro like in the album version.
It's a lot better than this sudden transition.
:O! I hadn't even watched the video yet but I clicked on this. It scared the shit out of me. XD
That was bad ass
Great fucking singer. Amazing.
3:27 That rage face. O.O
Aaron busting dem moves

if u watch them play this song live accoustic for the AOL Sessions Ben is wearing the same Transformers shirt for the same song
Guitar player has a nice live tone.
yeaaa.
If Aaron and Mark didn't go behind Ben's back and sell the digital version of the Blow Me Away song without his permission, they would probably still be there...very underhanded by them and a stab in the back to Ben if you ask me...pretty crappy and sneaky...
because your dad is awesome
VIEJO BEN. TOTEELA!
Calles Atestadas,Despejadas a lo lejos.
Uno Por Uno.
Heroes huecos se separan,
Segun como corran.
Tu estas tan frio
Conserva tu mano sobre la mia.
Hombres sabios se preguntan mientras hombres fuertes mueren.
1:00 over and over again XD

i agree
@MrWaffles210 Yeah...and then he also reminds me of Matt Dillon.
@9TheManiac some fill in they had after the first got fired. ironically, I think his name was Ben or Benjamin
Mark's an innovator, hahaha
@rechta thumbs up.. no joke lol

Who's on drums in this video? Doesn't like like Jeremy or Chad
Waw Nice.. Video Lama nih.. 2004 :o

2022-Nov-02 Best live performance :))
As long as Ben isn’t the only singer, none of the new performances will touch his old ones
1:00 SEEMS LEGIT
pretty fuckin good!!!
Who’s the drummer they got on this one?
They have to do it man.....TV makes them cause they only have a certain amount of time to play.
@Doomon15 every artists sounds different from the album to live... and he had a major lung diseas during that whole year and i think for a few after that too...
Who’s drumming??? Jeremy Hummel??
Hope so mate :D

who's the drummer
Who's the drummer here?!
I'm sorry but, while the new BB is good... You can't touch Aaron, Mark & Chad. It sucks what happened but, this BB will be forever.

Who's the drummer it doesn't look like any of the three I know
Whose the drummer?
Is it just me or dose Ben remind you of Jim Carry
What's wrong with a decepticon shirt?
Because they need more new bands like this?
