Flux ControlNets are working with ROCm 6.1 in WSL and 6.2 in Linux - 6.2 is not supported yet in WSL both with PyTorch 2.4, both was tested on a RX7900XTX. Was some glitches initially with oom, but it seems to have been resolved now.

I have a laptop with 8GB of VRAM. The best option there is Hyper SDXL models (improved version of the faster Turbo/Lighting variants of SDXL which are faster than normal SDXL), it supports IPAdapters or multiple ControlNet at the same time with no issues.

control nets work with gguf, I tested depth map, could not get ip adapter to work. They have info about that on their site. Flux has far better prompt following, though the lighter versions are worse. try cfg 3.5 steps 50 with gguf dev, in my experience it needs lots of steps and generation is relatively slow, which makes it less pleasant to use. SDXL and even SD1.5 are still great, it's really nice to be able to generate stuff in a couple of seconds. Overall, I think besides the efficiency improvements likely to come we need better hardware.

Could u or anyone maybe help me out. I have a Intel 14900k CPU and a AMD Radeon RX 7900XTX GPU.
Ive download comfyUI and it runs on my Intel CPU and not graphics card.
Then I watch a video on using Flux AI model and when I went to use it it said I needed a Navidia GPU.
So does anyone have a easy reliable work around for this? If so please let me know and I'll send u my email or if u have a good video/link I would be greatly appreciative.
Also when they say a Navidia gpu can it be any cheap 4080 or 4090 gpu like a PNY GeForce 4090 or no, it have to be a navidia brand? Thanks
