Half of my family originally immigrated to the Bay Area from Shanghai, making me part Chinese. One of my fondest memories from childhood was celebrating the Lunar New Year and bowing three times for red envelopes. Gong Hei Fat Choi! 🙇🙇🙇
Today, I wanted to compile a more complex scene to honor the holiday. I leveraged Illustrator to create the simple lanterns and the pattern of the hero sphere. For the snake, I used generative AI (Firefly Image 3) to generate a golden 3D snake. Then I cropped the image automatically in Photoshop to quickly create a PNG.
The next step for me is trying to put together an actual story or short scene. I am very familiar with what the tool is capable of, but what can I do?
