Nice one! My favourite seaside resort in the UK. Love the place and can't wait to go there again for a week Sept 10th
Watching this as unable to sleep.My most happiest memories.Such a beautiful place and friendliest people.Loved it a couple of years ago when there were fireworks on the beach stunning array.Took a trip on the round robin i think it’s called, on the steam train the boat ect great value for money wonderful day out.I noticed where those blue painted buildings were by the boats we had a lovely cooked breakfast.Does anyone love the red chips ? Oh my goodness they are the best on the Main Street ! Best bands in the pubs ! What more can i say fabulous place.Mike your filming is impeccable,you have I’m sure brought many happy memories back to many people & you have done a superb job to bring more tourists to Devon’s precious gem,God bless you mate.susan an avid fan forever 👍

Paignton is a shithole.. you would not want to smell that place...
And torbay is definitely NOT charming.. It's a scummy skanky shit stain of a place.. ( & that is being nice )
I have lived here for 15 years now and still love it! I grew up in the midlands and would never go back to that place.
Yes, indeed. A lot of Midlanders in the sixties/seventies 'migrated' to beautiful Torbay, Paignton in particular, and set up bed and breakfasts, hotels. You can see why. I am from Wolverhampton, spent many family holidays there, cherished memories, the whole area of Torbay and extended to the South West in general is phenomenally beautiful and appealing. Magnificent abode for young families. A big part of my soul is forever there. If I had my life over again I know where it would be. So totally in love with the place.💜💜💜

@@peterturley1331 am from Wolverhampton to is it nice there now we had our holidays there in the seventies with my mom & dad and two brothers how my dad drive around there I do not know in car what we had and drive back again I think we had ten years there year after year. Used to stay at waterside caravan park. Mom & dad love it there not here anymore past away. My wife has family there aswell I am Stephen the wife has brother there he’s family there and her real dad there had second family in Torquay we have not been there for years years long time now. Was thinking of going there soon for day out in the summer if we can and take the grandchildren with us. If Covid free. Big wolves fan wolves ay we.

Hey, used to live in Paignton, left in 1975 when I was fifteen, havent been back since but intend to soon. It has changed a lot since I was there in some ways but in other ways still the same. Makes me home sick, cant wait to come and walk around again!! Living in South Africa now!!
I've been to Paignton last June and I was litterally amazed by its quiet but also magic atmosphere! I miss those days...

I was born 'n' bred in Paignton ( Paigntonian) and lived there for 48 yrs until I emigrated to The Philippines with my wife ( filipino).Went back 4 yrs ago on my own and there certainly had been some changes especially where I used to work ( St.Ivel Paignton Yalberton Road) which unfortunatelyis no more
