wow! someone is using my tiles for a youtube video, great! 😯😁😆
Thank you for letting us use your amazing tilemap! You're a great pixel artist :)
@@morebblakeyyy you're welcome. By the way, you are using the old version of this tile, a slightly more attractive version is available now.
Hey, Can I use your tiles in a Platformer I am doing?
Very nice tutorial mate. On point and clear explanation. Thank you so much. Please keep doing these. You earned +1
Thank you very much, I was behind the class but I try to catch it up!
WoW! Took me just a few SECONDS to make a DYNAMIC TILEMAP! THNAKS!
Great tutorial! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much man! Helped a lot
Super good tutorial, it helped A LOT thanks :)
This was a Godsend, you da man!
Thank you so much!! Greatly appreciate it
this video made my life 10k times more easier and takes less time thank you soo much
Great tutorial appreciate it!
truly an underrated tutorial
thanks. saved me many hours
Nice job
great tutorial
Thank you 🙏
this was really useful, but quick question how do you do slopes
this is absolutly great, it would have saved me so much time in the past. Really easy to follow you in the tutorial, never had any problems
I have question, how can i change that my player can run thru the bushes, i added tilemap collider to the tilemap, but now i can stand on the bushes and flowers
I'd use a second tilemap for this :)
Thanks, I was looking for an easy way to scale my blocks to the scene's scale without using the scale tool too much...
Thank you
THANK UU
(Changing my comment because I'm stupid)
Thanks for the video, great explanation!
Im using an older version of unity, and the package isnt showing up. Should being on the 2019.4.20f version stop me from seeing the package? I dont have enough storage to download a new version.
This is amazing
one question though: how do you add colliders to these newly placed tiles?
Select Tilemap GameObject > Add Component > Tilemap > TIlemap Collider 2D
@@kiing_ot thx
Will it work if we add the ramps too?
This is very useful. Could you do a tutorial on how to create a Texas hold'em poker game?
That's amazing!!! Can I have your Dynamic Tilemap? Thank you so much.
for some reason i cannot find the tile pallet button?
You can pull it up by clicking on window tab at top 2d then you'll see it
fyi at 0:17 that is a vr transition, there is an option to make it 2d in premiere which I assume you are using, sorry for being petty, it's just a pet peeve of mine everytime I see this transition used in 2d videos I die inside. Anyway great video
I know it is, I’ve been editing a long time
what's the microphone?
What about a tile touching another material tile and creating a transition, like a path touching grass in top down?
I’m not entirely sure if this is possible from a single rule tile. It may well be, but the method I’m using for my current game is two seperate rule tiles, 2 tilemap for both tile sets and then a third overlay tilemap for blending the transition between them, manually placing the transition tiles that way. Hope this helps
why 60fps for video like that?=(
I do not see my tile pallet
Me when ruletile
i keep restarting it and every time i do it the tiling rules wont show my things to edit it
nvm i fixed it
@@IGotThosFromTheManInTheAlley how did you fix it?
I guess technically ten minutes are "a number of seconds".
the "open tile pallete" is not showing

tiling rules makes my stomach sick i cant get myself to understand how it works
It can be a confusing topic. Just experimentation is your best bet at understanding them
kinda wish you'd provided the rulemap so I could just download it and not have to copy it :c
You don’t have to copy it, it’s provided in the description
@@bblakeyyy :O
@@bblakeyyy wait I only saw the tilemap, not the assets he made (the rulemap which he said "you can pause the video to copy"
is anybody in the comments a game developer??
I cannot figure this sh*t out! It's like every step I follow it just doesn't do what it's supposed to do!
I'm not blaming you, your explanations seem very logical but they just don't work for me
guy really went and said "Step 2: DRAW THE REST OF THE FUCKING OWL". Couldn't you at least explain what the heck do the arrows and crosses mean?
Are we watching the same video😂what are you talking about?
Sorry I'm very late, only 7 months. I didnt use this method, but it seems the green arrow means it checks for a tile. The red arrow means it checks for no tile. So if you set every arrow as green it will know that it is the middle sprite. If you do green on all sides but the top, then it would make it the tile with grass on the top. Tell me if this is correct also if it helps. 😊
Also if you do still need help could you tell me what you mean by crosses, maybe I'll know 👍
