Yes, criminals as in they just haven’t been caught yet and they don’t have a record so they pass the background checks and get the job. Once they are in they start stealing. At the main post office downtown in Saint Louis a million dollars of Covid relief checks were stolen by 2 mail handlers and a supervisor. It’s usually a group of people working together doing this and management is involved. These delivery companies are doomed and I hate to see what the future holds for them!
I agree. The post office in Cleveland had my brother. He was a thug. He beat up people on his route. He attacked their pets. He destroyed property. He kept being protected by the union. They put him in the main station sorting. He fought with coworkers. He got hooked on drugs he bought from his new friends at work. It took six years before they said Enough and fired him.
Use amazon instead and leave prayers for something more relevant. Been using Amazon for 16 years, never had an issue. A couple of thefts, a couple of shipped to wrong address cases, missing item once because wind was too strong, etc and in every single case got my money back or got my item ship again and I even got items for free when one of my neighbors took my expensive uggs boots and I made a complain for missing item, got it shipped again and my neighbors came to my home day after saying they took it to avoid someone else stealing it. I got so pissed off at them for taking the liberty of doing so. I reported immediately to amazon the minute it was missing and I reported it back right after my neighbor showed up with my boots and being told by amazon to keep the new merchandise.
All of a sudden we were getting notes our packages were undeliverable. Come to find out they’re understaffed and didn’t even bother to try, they figured we’d come get them ourselves or it would just get sent back! 🤦♀️ I had everything sent to my mils for Christmas, not taking any chances!
They already are! Several USPS employees caught stealing checks.. But get this! They are allowed to bring backpacks and large bags onto the mailroom floor. I guess they are working on fixing the broken security camera's. Sad that you can't trust these businesses to get your packages or mail too you. A few bad seeds make the rest of the great people look bad.
Despicable. People were counting on those packages being delivered, and spent good money on those items to be sent to their friends & relatives. The added thing that really ticks me off about this is I have a friend who just started working for UPS about a month ago, and it’s been ages since we’ve seen him this excited about a job he’s had. He loves it & is really good at it. This casts a bad light on all the decent, hardworking UPS workers across the country who take pride in their work and service. Hope that folks realize this was just ‘a few bad apples’ and that it doesn’t represent the vast majority of UPS workers out there.
Every single package shipped by Amazon shipping of any size or weight always gets stolen before making it to me. Never had a UPS shipment not make it to me.
I have never not received my packages by UPS, FED EX ,USPS or Amazon if you are not a informed shopper and don’t know how to order online safely maybe you should stick to the brick and mortar stores 🤔
If you have to buy insurance to cover the cost of an order item there is no savings from buying online, may as well just buy at your local store. UPS and FedEx are both large enough companies to have a system in play in order to ensure things like this never happen. How is it not being noticed that labels are being printed in these employees' names on a regular basis from a warehouse system?
probably would have gotten away with it longer had they sent the stuff to vacant homes with fictitious names. like they say, only dumb criminals get caught.
No, if I’m buying online it’s the online store’s responsibility to insure the package is delivered (and without any damage). If not I simply contact them for a refund or file a chargeback if nothing gets done and let them go after the shipping carrier they’re contracted through. Not making excuses for the shipping company but these large online stores (or any reputable online websites) have plans in place should things like this happen.
Most things I buy online are not, and never will be, available in a local store. This insurance scam is the latest trend to try to extort more money out of us.

I bought an expensive plane from Home Depot online and never received it from UPS; it was hell getting my refund back. My last resort was to stop the credit card payment which they refused my request because according to "the foreign accent person" I'm speaking to "Home Depot" says the item was shipped. In desperation I asked to speak to her supervisor and told her I want to see a picture of the package by my door or else I'm cancelling the credit card right now. She quickly reversed the charge. I worked at the USPS as a carrier and a clerk and let me tell you they hire a bunch of criminals.
