Good morning,Gayle!! I love this challenge, but I think I probably have an advantage growing up in the country. My mind went to cicadas, crickets, mosquitoes, wasps, bees, horse flies, clicker beetles (I don't know their real name). Your sweet voice and your laughter always make the day brighter. Never forget that your videos make a HUGE and positive impact on our days. Love ya!!!
My Mama was born in 1905 so of course she lived through the depression and other sad times. I asked her once why the people in the pictures of that time were so sad. She sad there wasn’t much to be happy about. Thankfully she was almost 96 when she died, so she had lots to be happy about later.
As always, fun stuff, Gayle! That folding folder bag - I believe it's made by Everything Mary. Our area Hobby Lobbys had them in the sewing section. They are called Folding Sewing Organizer. I chatted with the Everything Mary lady on Facebook, and asked her about them. I haven't been able to find them at HL, and wondered if they have been discontinued. She said, "This item is still sold in hobby stores! It is currently in the middle of a pattern switch, so it will be in a new color when back in the store. Hobby Lobby does a pattern switch every year based on their store trends." I also spoke with our Hobby Lobby's best sewing section personnel, and she looked at the new planogram for that section. She wasn't sure if they would be getting them, or not. But, look for them in October/November if the company will be carrying them again. They are the BEST for storing paper ephemera! LOL I have four, and want MORE! ;) Happy days!
That was a fun collage with the animals and bees. You had great choices of animals for their distinct sounds they make. All the ephemera turned out great.
I hope your contractor gets to you guys soon. It’s hard to wait. I like all the pieces you finished. They will be nice to have as you finish your journals😊
As soon as you read the MM challenge I said you would have bees and owls! It turned out great with all the animals and insects. What is it with the unhappy guys you were pulling out today? Have they been languishing too long waiting their turn? 😂 At least those three young boys were a happy bunch! I really enjoy watching you just pull out things and create ephemera. Have a blessed day!
I wasn’t using my Timmy ephemera as much as I should until I realized, I use the people all the time and they are about the same thickness as the ephemera pieces. It’s silly but putting that together, has made me use it more now!
😂 “Let’s Tim Holz this one up a bit”… LOVE it! 😂 now we can use Tim’s name as a verb! (Or is it an adverb? 🤷♀️🤗😘) Maybe, if copyright is allowed, you can use that on your future merch?
My hubby was listening as I was watching this video. When you said that the ephemera needed a word, my hubby replied, How about PATIENCE? That seems to be the word of the day!” 😂 I hope you have a good day.
Hi Gayle. I have found that when I’m having difficulty getting the backing off stickers, I use the point of my small scissors to get me started. Maybe you could try that. Or even a poky tool, if you have one near. Love your work. 😻💕
I found your challenge to be one of my favorites. When you just craft instinctively, things always end up well. The tags were fun to watch you work with, as well. You have inspired me to spend the rest of the morning in my craft room, finishing up a gift journal. Have a wonderful day.

I think it was the colors that pulled that challenge together 👏

Week 36 is so pretty, I love the big ole owl.. great video Gayle. 🍁🍂🍁
Everything is perfect. It's ok to be impatient with yourself at times. As long as it's not toward others. Besides you're the queen of kindness. 🐞🕉️✌️
🤗😘❤️
Gayle, I loved in the challenge when you put the duck on picking out.

I think your collage is really nice, even with those pesky bugs.
Sometimes my vitamins make me queasy, too. I have to take them with food.

Good morning!
Beautiful Wednesday Gayle! Wow! You really got a lot accomplished! Thank you for sharing & inspiring! 💖
I think that was one of the best challenge outcomes. I really like how that turned out. I have lots of Tim Holtz people and I have never used them but after watching all of the ways that you use them, I think I will try it myself. Thanks!! you are an inspiration, Gayle.
Always fun!
💕 TFS 🤗
That turned out beautiful! You're too hard on yourself 😍 Pretty ephemera decorating too!
Hi Gayle🦋
Looks like everyone had some difficulty with this challenge but you all rocked it. 🤗💕
Enjoyed watching!
Whenever I use the Tim Holtz people, it makes me wish I knew their story, some of them are all dressed up, but look so troubled….
Bless you
Awesome play 🥰
Hello Gayle ❤️
Great video! ❤️😍
❤️
Lack of patience is why I don't use oil paints.

Too bad Tim Holtz doesn’t make paper dolls in muted colors.
