Great looking shop. When you said about everything being accessible I imagined them having a shotgun behind the counter like in the Simpsons or something 😂
On average to me your gaming shops in the Mids and North are much better than we get down South - or I'm just utterly cr@p at finding them, but honestly the places you locate mate are amazing.
Kenny's is fantastic. Been there a few times. I usually head off to doorway to dorkness afterwards as they're only about 15 miles apart and make a day of it.
Been to Kenny's twice and definitely need to pay them another visit soon, fantastic shop and so chilled and relaxed can have a really good browse, always fantastic stock
I have a few game guides also. My fave one is Mortal Kombat hardback complete with character cards not written on as I put them in an A4 sleeve to protect them. I also have Dead Space 2 in softback, Assassins Creed Brotherhood and III in softback and last but not least Deus Ex human Revolution in hardback. Bought them all for £1 each from Cash converters.
Not had the pleasure of going in the shop but I’ve been ordering off them online for a few months now Always excellent condition and well packaged stuff
Deadly Creatures is great. THQ Nordic should do a multiplatform remake, it would really benefit from normal smoother controls and more realistic looking creatures and environments.
Great looking little shop. I think I’ve got a Shadowrun game on the PS4. A legendary game by all accounts, the folks that love it, LOVE IT. Take it easy Callum.
Strangely Harvest Fishing isnt actually a spin off of harvest moon its part of the River King video games, but was marketed here to tie into Harvest Moon to try and get some more sales. I dont think it worked haha.
Another great episode mate awesome to see you collecting some more special edition ps2 and as always some Nitendo cardboard I love seeing the snes collection growing and loved the extra ps2 hidden gameplay after the episode great job 😎👌🏻
Love the strategy guide pickups 👍 You gotta give Joe a go on KoF, he is class, has a muay-thai Sagat feel to him 👌 Cold Mountain is very very good, it is very slow-paced (by design) and has a cool atmosphere & feel to it ✌️
@@gib84gaming4 nicenone Gibbo! I know you love a magazine / guide. Mate.... Maybe Thai... Sagat... that's all I need to hear, I'll be getting involved with Joe next time I stick it in.. thanks bro 👊🏻
Went on a hunt today. Got a Medievil 2 for the PS1 off my list. Dude in the CEX said he can't understand why the copy I was buying wasn't classed as mint cod it was pretty minty to be fair lol Few other Xbox 360 titles off this list too. Hoping for another little jaunt at the weekend too
Really enjoying this channel a lot. I’ve been binging it recently. I’m relatively new to collecting since I started with Switch, and now moved to being less specific, so snes, n64, ps4 etc. since the landscape is pretty complicated in terms of same games on various platforms and even remasters on varying consoles, eg god of war on ps2 but remastered on ps3. I’d be interested in understanding how you go about deciding which platform to pickup for? I see you’re mostly on the ps essentials but you also pickup for other consoles, so I’m interested in how you decide which console variant to buy a game for when multiplat? Thanks
Really strange, second time it's happened this week but I wanted to check spelling and my previous message has vanished lol Wanted to say kenny's looked a great shop. Also, always good to see someone pick up anything kof related, imo the best fighting game franchise of all time, i say that because I still love the modern games unlike sf where I've fallen off playing the game, still love the franchises though and have added the new sf6 juri and chun li figures and looking forward to some aaa statues next year. I watch loads of gameplay vids, you asked on Sunday, but only from fighting game channels, so I obviously watched yours today, glad to hear that you liked it, for me I'm more into 95 - 98, I bought mi on release and later added the Japanese version but tbh I haven't played it much, will pop it on this weekend purely down to you so that's good imo, going back to a game I've neglected. Cheers 🥂
Omg Cursed Mountain. That game for me was bloody cursed itself. I had it sat on my shelf sealed for 10 years and during lockdowm I was going through my Wii back catalogue and there was no disc inside. I managed to locate where I bought it from which was Amazon. They couldn't understand why after 10 years I wanted a refund. Luckily I explained I'm a collector and sometimes games are sat on my shelf for years before I play. Unbelievably they refunded it after 10 years. I found another copy sealed for the same price and that one was sent with a red security tag on the side of the case. I had to break the case to get the disc out. Amazon also refunded this so eventually ended up with a free copy. The game is okay but it took me a while to get used to the motion controls...
Hi Retro Ghetto I've been watching your videos for a while and really love them but I havnt seen any original Xbox stuff me tioned and that my passion going for the full pal set and just wondered why
Good stuff lads!! I've seen a fair few folks talking about Kenny's online. 👍 There's only one decent retro store (North Manchester) within a reasonable travelling distance of myself... 😢 The stock turnover there is too slow and nothing really significant/rare/heavy hitting ever turns up!! It's a really small shop though so I wouldn't expect it... I desperately need some of these gaming Markets/fairs to find their way into Manchester!! Or at the very least, a decent sized retro shop!!🤞
@SuperMegaDave_ Rewind collectables in Ashton, I've been there 4 or 5 times in the last 12 months and didn't really see anything of much significance... 😕 Not like the stores Callum goes to!! So jealous!! 😁😂
If I could go for anything from that shop it would have to be the Beatrix Kiddo and Batman statues. Don't know where I would put them but absolutely awesome!!! 🙏❤️💯👍😎
I was quite shocked pricing of some of snes carts to shocking to me. As a collector, hopefully, eventually even a shop owner, depending. £90 for Mega Man X and £100 for R-Type 3 along with some of the others was excessive. Regardless of reputation, and people are entitled to charge what they want. I would hate to think what they would charge for some of the games that are truly more elusive like Firemen, Alien vs Predator on Snes, Punisher on Mega Drive and the Superman on 64, which I just picked up complete with poster for a very good price. I'm very glad when I sold my PS5 just under two years ago to get back into my fav retro consoles, that I managed to pick up Mega Man X for under £40. At the end of the day, I like everyone want to get the best deals but you also have be not a cheapo and pull the trigger on if you truly want it or the opportunity will be along time coming. If you know its completely over-priced, then fine! As much I enjoy love your videos, Callum, it find it quite humorous when you say it must be rare because you never see like your some sort gaming know it all. Just because you never seen it, doesn't mean its rare. People will always see things a lot more often than you do that you may not in this world and you will see things more regularly than others. Its the the way the world spins. That Snes red box you saw at Super Game Shack, was pretty common in Spain during the Snes release time. Like when, I was on Holiday in LA in 2004, I saw one of the Predator suits that used in the movie in a movie prop and memorabilia shop in California, it had been hanging their many many months according to the owner, at $12,000 dollars, it wasn't rare things because it viewed by hundreds upon hundreds of people coming and going over the months. Something you haven't seen doesn't mean its rare, it just means you are not in the right place at the right time. Imagine how much that suit would be worth now. Same with that Batman set you looked, that wasn't a rare thing. People haven't picked it up because of their price and it it really worth it? Nope!
Shadowrun is a fantastic game for the time although it has some flaws. I played through it and loved it. The cursor system is annoying but you learn to live with it.
Landstalker banger of a RPG back in the day, buddy edgy stuff, with some cheeky bits especially the bath scene lol, @Retro Ghetto do you already have this title mate?!?
Hi I bought one of the retro emulators that you had sent to you on here I’ve never played mega drive or snes so can anybody recommend 2 from each system that are must play please 🙏
Was a pleasure dude look forward to your next visit 🙂
your shop looks sick
I’ve known Kenny since our school days. Top guy, genuinely passionate about gaming and super knowledgeable too. Highly recommend his shop.
Thanks for having me along for the ride! It was very easy to find some great things in Kenny's. Looking forward to the vlog
Pleasure was all mine Dave, great day mate! Yeah more great finds to come on Sunday
I do think the ps2, GameCube and original Xbox generation is one of the best. Most games really hold up and run at 60fps :) Great generation.
So many epic pieces in Kenny’s store. Always love seeing those rarer games even if I can’t afford them.
You know when the Super Turrican theme starts during a game hunt my man means business 😂😂😂
Great work as always mate

Great shop kennys hopefully gonna pop in over the weekend 😊
Have you ever played Journey? You have to get to a mountain peak on that. A short game but it won a Game of the Year award. I love that game
Big up to kennys

That Jurassic Park Part 2 SNES cardboard is beautiful @ 14:30 🤤
So many king of fighters games on the PS2 - the maximum impact games were pretty solid.
