+ImpactedGnome The new Tomb Raider games do a really good job at bringing life to Lara don't they. These Tomb Raider games are some of the few where I actually feel connected with the main character. One of the only other games to do that was Red Dead Redemption with John Marston.
+ImpactedGnome I'm a huge Uncharted fan, in fact, Uncharted 2 is one of my top 3 favorite games of last-gen, but Tomb Raider 2013 and especially Rise of the Tomb Raider compare very favorably. I don't understand the people who rip on these games either. They borrow some elements from Uncharted but also differentiate enough and do some things that Naughty Dog should consider for its future games. The pseudo-open world being one of them. At least that other person is consistent though, dislikes Uncharted as well as Tomb Raider, so seems to just hate good games.

I can't help but cry to this song when I had finished the game. I guess it was because of what happened to Lara's father and the fact that Ana had betrayed her family. It also was due to the fact that Jacob was gone and Lara had sacrificed the one thing to prove her father was not crazy for the sake of saving the world from Trinity. She's pretty brave and strong. Can't wait for the next entry.
Chr Bendix Well in the reboot he committed suicide as seen in the flashback. But as the last cutscene implied, it could be that he was murdered and made to look like a suicide scene. Perhaps the next entry will give us more insight.

Gotta love how people compare Lara Croft to Nathan Drake like she's the one that stole the show or something. Thing is, she was there way before Nathan Drake was even an idea in the mind of game conceptors. Seriously, just stop it. They're both different individuals. Can we just stop complaining about how this doesn't look like that or the other way around? They're not even in the same universe. Can't we just enjoy games anymore without complaining all the time?

This game is the balance between the legendary tomb hunter lara and the survivor of the first game, the one who, although intelligent and courageous, was still fragile, remained prepared, but always dealt with the situation in improvisation. The legendary counterpart already knows how to handle the situation with mastery, she is trained, prepared and knows how to take care of herself. This is her best season, best phase and best game, still maintaining the balance between Lara that we empathized with and the legendary next Croft that would be rising
