Let's be honest... Chaylo *DOES* keep some weird hours, it's not beyond him to actually post a video at 1 AM.
Of course, having visited him I can say that even if he DID put it up at 1 AM, given how Vader is the back of the back of the back of beyond, it'd probably take RUclips until 5 AM to get it uploaded and available to the public... LOL!

Hey Cap,
The plug there is actually not a NATO plug. It looks the same but its wired differently. It's a plug that fits ZTAC connectors. If you look for a ZTAC ptt device to connect to your walkietalkie (portophone or whatever you wanna call it). I can highly recommend this set-up.
Also, it will fit your head since we concluded that your head and my head are the same size. Though it is a really tight fit. And you have to align the helmet perfectly to let the faceplate close.
For reference, my head is 1 cm larger than the maximum size for this helmet according to the description.
Removing the back padding for this helmet is not needed, nor is it recommended.

i think the issue with the pright colored gear is a lot of it simply is more expensive. i tried to find white gear for a modulus themed loadout and thats nearly impossible. i settled on OD green and got supremely lucky with bofftac to get a few essential custom pouches. chinese knockoffs offer a few things in non threatening colors but not the essentials. i was able to get a molle backpack in school bus yellow and black (yellow bag with black molle) and my med kit is orange but nothing in the way of orange or anything other than the main three in terms of mag pouches or chest rigs/plate carriers etc etc etc
It really is a problem for those in our hobby; most tac gear we might want to use is in black, camo, or blaze orange... Good gear in colors aside from that are pretty few and far between.
@@Nathan_Talisien agreed. Modulus gen 1 colors are my colors and white gear or pouches in orange or bright green are nonexistent.
@@jimmusthegrimmace I *really* wish there were more gear in Modulus green! I've modeled my gear colors similar to those the Cap'n uses out of pure convenience, but I'd love to have more to choose from. My personal preference would be orange and copper, but there's bugger-all gear available in copper unless you make it yourself... That's fine for blasters, but cloth doesn't really take and retain spray paint worth a damn. :(

@@legoboy-ox2kx Sadly, it doesn't always work since much of the tac gear on the market is made of synthetic fibers and their color is part of the material itself rather than something added later. Even when it *does* work, a lot of the gear you might want to dye is black; making it a bright color often just doesn't work well enough. If your gear uses natural materials, though, it's 100% worth trying!
These are cool and all, though I'm genuinely curious about whether the Captain will dawn at least one or two of those new Stryfe X blasters from *Hasbro of all people?!* (Seriously wasn't expecting to hear that kind of news)
Right?!? When Luke (Out of Darts) dropped that video today, the only thing dropping further than his video was my jaw, upon seeing Hasbro/Nerf actually acknowledging our corner of the hobby!

One of the local Surplus shops have named their mannequins Tactical Ted and Terry. I don't recall who mans the front and rear of the store, but they do hold watch.
Cap, you can get either a Kenwood to 7.1 adaptor or a Kenwood to 3.5 mm jack for your radio, I got one off of amazon for mine.

I hope a tacvest company does make gear in brighter colours. You can get instructor vests in red and hunting vests in orange but they're not cheap.
Heyla, Cap'n! Totally off topic, but... Have you tried the Sprecher Charged Lemonade? I just found it locally here in northern California- in the Dollar Tree, of all places, lol! If you've had it, I'm curious to know your thoughts.
If you haven't had it... The one I found is a moderately carbonated lemonade, VERY lightly sweetened, with about 80 mg of caffeine for a 20 ounce can (about as much as a cup of coffee or can of Coke). I'm a big fan; most of the commercially available lemonades I've found are far sweeter than I like, but the Sprecher is a properly tart lemonade, not liquid sugar with a lemon flavoring.
More ON-topic... I wish someone would make a cool helmet that fits my Plague Doctor Nerfing aesthetic. I've got custom head gear I built myself, but it doesn't have great ventilation and the peripheral vision is kinda deuces because the only eye-area frame set I could find that felt sturdy enough was from a set of welding goggles, and there's next to no vision to the sides.
I have not. I heard tell that Sprecher was in Dollar Trees. Sadly, I dawdled and by the time I checked some out I was only able to find a single cream soda.

It's not a plate carrier, but Tru-Spec sells their 1/4 zip combat shirts in neon orange. They're also decently priced for a combat shirt of that quality

@@CaptainXavier I kind of forgot that to most $65 is pretty pricey since the standard prices tend to be around 200-350 dollars. But, I promise once you get a combat shirt, you'll never want to go back.

What do you think about coop leaving? It personally makes me really sad. He was definitely my favorite nerf youtuber.
...surely it would make more sense to ask this on a Q&A video (where I have already coveted it) as opposed to a review video of tactical gear...
But to answer it anyway, I was not his target audience, so I didn't watch his videos. I've met him, we got along well, I hope to see him again someday. He did a lot of good for the hobby, but he wasn't enjoying it anymore, so I am glad he stopped.
