Germany is partially more expensive than Vietnam. Food is similar to Vietnam for us, but only because we actually spent a lot on food in Vietnam. Thanh is focusing on his German and has some side jobs, and I'm managing a team of editors (and still edit myself). Luckily, at the moment I earn enough for us both, but we also keep the costs down as much as we can (e.g. we only have a 1-bedroom apartment).
