There's a lot of confusion on this and I figured it out. So when you use the lock sim card method and you go back to the start just factory reset it again and use the password you changed. Works as of 2022
What is that image to transfer by Bluetooth I don't get it obviously you have to take that image on the phone that you're going to lock the same with and then lock it and so forth and so forth I don't know

For those who can’t do it with the certificate option on Email App: I did it with Bluetooth headset 1- connect Bluetooth device to your phone 2- it needs to have a call button, press the call button twice to pop up Google 3- Type “Open Sertings” 4- go to Security Settings and scroll down and tap on “Screen pin” 5- turn it on and set a pin, then go back and do the setup normally with the pin you just set

Doesnt work it didnt say anything about changing to secure lock screen I just get sent to what appears to be a file manager
