That would definitely be my pick. What a beautiful rig. Nothing but quality when it comes to Brinkley. Can’t wait to see you guys pulling it around. Great choice!!!
I think you did quite well for an RV review, honestly. Great flow and talking about how it would apply to your living preferences makes it relatable. Also, the gold/brass fixtures have really grown on me after I watched quite a few of these Brinkley walkthroughs.
lol, Thank you - we have never considered us good at reviews, just try to provide the information that we look for and hope it resonates with the audience. The gold/ brass fixtures we are so torn on - in some light they look great and others it's iffy. Wouldn't be a deal maker either way though
Very nice! I may upgrade our Z3400 for a G model. We upgraded the truck to a Ram 3500 DRW so now the sky’s the limit. Brinkley’s customer service is second to none. I hope you get it!
Ohhhh it's an absolute DREAM 😍 I love the idea of a toy-hauler for the space for living and being able to include more people comfortably...and the patio!! It's like an actual house on wheels with the finishes and materials. Gorgeous.
Do it. Our daughter has had a Brinkley for a little over a year. We are on the west coast, her inlaws are on the east coast. They travel back and forth all year. They are currently in FL!!! I say do it because: not only are they very happy with theirs, Brinkley has stood behind their product 100%+! They had some electrical problems with the inverter when they first got it. Brinkley paid for a hotel for 2 nights until it was fixed. Then there was a recall on the electrical wiring harness to the fridge. They didn't receive the notice prior to smelling burning plastic. They caught it in time and Brinkkey covered all the repairs and bought them a new fridge, just to be sure they do not have future problems. What RV manufacturer does that? Their customer service is superior!!! As soon as they make a Super C on a Freightliner chasis, we will be getting one! Lol
Absolutely love the Brinkley line... y'all are definitely thinking about all the right things. We've spoken to several Brinkley owners and never heard anything bad at all. Thank you for the shout out ... Happy New Year!!!!!!
Been watching your videos for quite some time so it is interesting to hear the change of heart over 40+ foot rig considering the negative comments that have been made about them in several of your videos. I know life changes & needs change, just interesting. Happy hunting & hope you find something that works for you, no matter the size.
That is the funny thing about RUclips. Only here can you be called out for a change of opinion or for something that a viewer thought was a negative statement but really was meant to be humor. One would think that a bigger concern would be creators that never changed their opinions or stance on something as that would mean they don’t grow as people. As we have stated several times in videos, we are just average people with a camera and an internet connection. Just because we stand in front of something doesn’t mean we own it 🤣 Safe Travels and happy new year
My wife and I want to go full time in a couple of years. We have a Grand Design travel trailer a little bigger than yours. When we bought the trailer we had no intention of living in it full time. After our first few trips in the trailer my wife started talking about going full time. She also started looking at bigger trailers. Then I found your channel. I would watch you guys and think well if they can live in theirs we can live in what we have. I shared your channel with her to show her that it could be done with a smaller travel trailer. After she watched she was convinced that we didn't need to upgrade our trailer. Now you guys go and do this!!!! You guys are costing me money! Lol "Its a beauty Clark!" Congratulations.
Super nice and as I said before you both deserve it. As you know that im a mechanic so I have no problems sleeping in the garage. 😂. Looking forward to seeing more. 👍🇨🇦
Wow! That’s a beauty! I’ve never commented on your videos but I started watching your channel awhile back and have watched them in order, all the way through, and I love you guys! My thoughts on this camper are this: I’m sure you’ve thought through this, but a longer, heavier camper is probably going to more stressful on travel days, not to mention that you’ll have to take a pass on a lot of campgrounds such as state and national parks that have smaller sites. And, will Kari feel comfortable with it if she has to drive? My husband and I bought a 35 foot long bumper pull last year that ended up getting stolen, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise because of these issues. We had previously had a 30 footer. After the 35 footer was stolen, we got a 25 footer, a Jayco with almost the exact floor plan of your Imagine, except it has a Murphy bed in the front. Now, we only use ours for camping and not full-time, and I’m amazed you were able to go two years in that small of a camper!! Blessings to you both as you make the decision on your new home!
I've hauled couple of them to dealerships was heavy but good to pull, the weight was even out. I used Dodge Ram Laramie 3500 single wheel long bed, had 109gal fuel tank yes fuel not gas in the back, 24,000lb 5th wheel, toolbox that was made and mounted at the tailgate, lower tailgate pull lever no need to touch the toolbox 5th wheel hours over it, plug was left rear in the bed
Love Campers Inn Myrtle Beach! Second Grand Design from them! Stacey and Jamie are absolutely awesome. Our salesperson was really fun to deal with David Torok
One of the reasons it looks so great to me is that y’all would have some easy separation within the home. As Bob said, he could be editing but with the clear glass door, Kari could wave to him or whatever - so you can each be in separate areas, but still together. One of the issues for me as I look at life in an RV is being able to have time away and to myself. Is it just me? 🙃 I think that this fits all of the things you’ve talked about - go for it!
@ - if we get another RV , it will be a Brinkley or Valor. But I think I want to special order ours. Love the floor plan and colors. Looking forward to see what you get.
Funny, NEVER had any major issues with our Grand Design or the frame. Maybe it is because we stay within the stated weight limits. Grand Design has been a great company to deal with - never an issue.
I live full-time in my G3500 #482 and love it. No regrets. Yes, there were some issues, but nothing that would have me move on. I personally opted for the queen bed for the nightstands, which I really like. I stayed with the standard 7,000 lbs axles, and I am happy with them. However, given a do-over, I'd definitely upgrade. It's not perfect but it's perfect for me.
What would annoy me is every time you close a cabinet door there is a horrible squeak. Is that due to the unlevelness of the trailer or misaligned hinges?
We bought a Brinkley G4000 and went full time last March. At that time there were only two G models. We don’t regret buying a Brinkley, their customer support has been excellent the few times we needed them.
With every trailer you consider, make sure how much weight is left for your stuff. Many of these trailers don't leave you enough weight to even fill all the storage compartments!
Have you seen the Brinkley model that has the extra multipurpose room in the back? Its an amazing offuce space, or laundry room, or craft room, or spare bedroom, or.... the desk area has a lift counter, so you can stand at your desk too. I dont know the model number, but you might want to look at it too!
To say that I am shocked would be an understatement. I thought you called it quits! I'm very happy for you! Brinkleys are the best! I have a 3400 and love it! You also have hidden storage in the fireplace wall I believe.... Good luck on your Journey!
@@liferedesigned I am not sure if you missed my point, I was actually just genuinely happy for you and for your followers, including myself. I enjoy your videos and look forward to more of them.
Well it’s really nice . . & a lot bigger! Make sure you can handle that rig or at least it will fit in sites you want to go to!! Enjoy watching your adventures!!!!
We just picked up our Brinkley G3950 last week. Traded in our Grand Design Solutude 378MBS. Brinkley’s quality and design is so much better! Leaving for south Texas this weekend for the winter. I think you would be very happy with the G3950!
The 3950 is a nice rig. However to keep from going to a bigger truck, we like the 3610 and our max tow package is great to allow for the rig to be towed without getting a bigger truck.
We went straight from a sticks and bricks into a 46' toyhauler, zero regrets and we love the space. Ours is a different layout from another brand as the most important thing to us was the kitchen and ours is unmatched in a toyhauler IMHO. The best advice i can give, go to Tampa and walk them all in one place.... I would also look real hard at materials used in some. One of my biggest knocks against a Brinkley is the particle board they use everywhere. Floor, roof, cabinet boxes, etc. Im not a fan of fallaparticle board.
We have looked at several Brinkleys and like the innovation. Not sure if the kitchen layout is the best- it feels tight and it would be easy for the cook to get "trapped" by another person getting a glass of water. Add a few more people and I think you'd really notice it. Good luck with the search!
@ the office is in the back.. the desk moved up and down.. my personal favorite…. and a window to see out… with a private door. It was a little cheaper…
Curious what you are doing for your "home" address? We full-time and until recently had no problems using a UPS pmb. We have a grand design 337rls but really love the Brinkly rv's. Jim
HI Jim! Great question - we use MyRVMail out of Crestview, Florida for our Florida domicile address. Info can be found here: gomyrv.com/liferedesigned oh and the 337RLS is a great model! safe travels.
That's a beautiful rig for sure. While I get the fact that you want more space, that seems enormous for the two of you. I know you want to be able to have guests, but since that wouldn't be the majority of the time, I wonder if all that extra length with the large garage might become kind of a pain sometimes. I think a lot will depend on how you plan to camp in the future. If you're going to be staying at campgrounds for longer periods and opting for the larger resort type of places then that probably won't be an issue. If you plan to go to some of the slightly smaller places I think you will find that your site options will be much more limited. One of my friends is finding this to be the case as he has started traveling around with his new 42' rig that he refers to as his tiny home. If I were choosing a Brinkley toy hauler I'd probably pick the G3250 since the garage space is just that little bit shorter but it would still allow the separate space for an office. I do like the idea of a toy hauler and the patio is a nice bonus to expand your space. As to the layout itself, Brinkley definitely did a good job with the use of space for cabinets etc. Not really a fan of the way the kitchen is blocked off by the sofa (which you also mentioned). I think 2 separate sofas with a walk through from the kitchen to the living room would flow better especially if you are entertaining guests since people tend to congregate in the kitchen area. Like you, I'm definitely on the fence with the gold fixtures too. Thanks for taking us shopping with you. I'm interested to see what you're looking at as other options. Oh.... and if you go with a big rig along the lines of this and an new white vehicle you could name them Casa and Blanca. 😄
Do it if you can. My wife and I want a Brinkley but can’t afford it. We are going with a used Rockwood Signature 5er…..still a step up from the 24’ Lance we had though! If only the military paid more😂 Seriously, as many Brinkleys we have looked at they have set the bar. Just wish they weren’t so darn expensive. We honestly would have bought the 2900 probably, but the lack of w/d hookups killed the deal. Good luck!
The gold fixtures are the big thing I dislike about the brinkleys. They are using them in homes too but those are upgrade able and changeable. This one rocks with the garage, extra half bath and porch/patio. I also like they go like on the colors and their use of space.
I'll trade our double wide home for this. LOL. The kids have moved out and it's just the two of us now. We'd love to downsize, but still have storage space. That back room would be my sewing room. :). We could do some traveling as well, of course! Wishing you the best whether you get this one or decide on something else. It's awesome!
Beautiful units.. We looked at Brinkley, Alliance, GD and KZ 5th wheels with the same idea of having office space and it looked like even the higher end units were overpriced and while they looked great, the overall build quality was less than i woud expect for a $150K + unit. Between that and the fact that the used market is flooded, we didn't want to get stuck with something that might be worth 50% what we paid as soon as we sign the contract. We pay cash for our toys and I can think of lots more fun ways to lose $70K+..LOL. Ended up buying a used Newmar Class A DP, not as much space as the 5th wheel, but built like a tank. We've been full-time for a year and still enjoying the trip.
If I had the money and space; it would be a Brinkley. I sweet on Cougar for our budget and traveling style. That said we're in a tiny Ibex lol. That's ok; we're out there making memories and seeing places we otherwise never would.
We're not on the road yet, but we're very seriously eyeballing the 3100. Loved the layout of the 3300, which is same floorplan as this one, minus the toy hauler space, but didn't like the idea of always having to assemble and disassemble the sectional when traveling and couldn't access the fridge with the slides in. Love the Brinkleys though! 💕 Can't wait for our fulltiming to start next year.
Nice ! Regarding that rear area toilet, ration your cake intake if you want to keep fitting inside it. I might get my legs in but thats about all. I really am a FAT cat.
@@liferedesigned I'm not sure you got what @annacrossman1288 was referring to.....the doors need adjusting....not a good thing on a new RV.....someone missed that in quality control.
We bought Z3610 with bonus room/office & we absolutely ❤️ it. No squeaking cabinets, we’ve had it 9 mths. so glad we went with Brinkley. We shopped several brands for 6-9 mths. prior to viewing the Brinkley brand. Knew instantly this was the only brand we wanted. Thanks Brinkley for going the extra mile on all the details.
Well my settings on my tablet and account on RUclips is just fine but for some reason they are auto bubbling you in Spanish for language. They must want you to be worldwide. You might want to have a chat with them. You’re not the only channel. I can’t watch you if I gotta listen to Spanish, as well as French and German and Italian as they have been doing on other rv youtube channels. Until they change they’re ways I can’t watch, this is America.
No powered nightstands next to each side of the bed is an automatic deal breaker for us. No place to charge our phones, put our glasses or put my wife's cpap machine. Maybe a queen bed allows for nightstands.
i hope you put money in a saving for repairs, because you will need it. 5th wheels are none stop repairs, every road trip something falls off. just last week here in BLM land in AZ, a couple had a Brinkley, and the front cap was coming apart. Also one side was uneven. Why people buy 5th wheels are beyond me.
Thanks Karen, We are definitely aware of the potential for maintenance and repairs. The bigger question is, if you are so against 5th wheels - why watch the video?
That would definitely be my pick. What a beautiful rig.

You've brought up some really good points, we're definitely thinking through all of it.
I have found that adjustable shelving has a tendency to fall down during travel
Interesting, will have to look into that
Howdy Bob and Karri, go for it,it's gonna be fun.
Howdy Charlie! This rig is beautiful that is certain.
Good luck!
Thank you - oh by the way, your username cracked us up hard lol
@liferedesigned Thanks, I don’t think I’m changing it anytime soon. People either love it or are triggered by it. Either way it’s a win win for me😃
The gold fixtures are the big thing I dislike about the brinkleys. They are using them in homes too but those are upgrade able and changeable. This one rocks with the garage, extra half bath and porch/patio. I also like they go like on the colors and their use of space.
They do a great job for sure! Bob isn’t too keen on the gold fixtures lol
Oh my! What a beautiful home on wheels. Are you looking to get another Ram truck (1 ton)? I'm thinking you might want a Peterbilt truck for that lol😂
This rig definitely needs a a bigger truck!
Sleep on it for sure. Brinkley seems to have a good name.
We have a couple of more options we will be sharing before making a final decision. Brinkley does have a following for sure!
I'll trade our double wide home for this. LOL. The kids have moved out and it's just the two of us now. We'd love to downsize, but still have storage space. That back room would be my sewing room. :). We could do some traveling as well, of course! Wishing you the best whether you get this one or decide on something else. It's awesome!
thank you for the kind words :) it is a beautiful rig
Wow.
Exactly!
there is a 50 min. video on this it is awesome, limited places it might go but awesome
That is correct, we like this rig! Definitely a contender
It sounds like you made the right decision for your needs, good for you!
If I had the money and space; it would be a Brinkley. I sweet on Cougar for our budget and traveling style. That said we're in a tiny Ibex lol. That's ok; we're out there making memories and seeing places we otherwise never would.
we hear you on that! Cougar was in the running for our first rig when we started. They are very nice
Bed is jammed in there somewhat. Who get's to change the sheets?
Actually pretty easy with Beddy’s - never have a problem with changes 😀
We're not on the road yet, but we're very seriously eyeballing the 3100. Loved the layout of the 3300, which is same floorplan as this one, minus the toy hauler space, but didn't like the idea of always having to assemble and disassemble the sectional when traveling and couldn't access the fridge with the slides in. Love the Brinkleys though! 💕 Can't wait for our fulltiming to start next year.
We share the same thoughts on this one! Congrats on redesigning your life next year!
@liferedesigned Thank you. This will be our second time around. Can't wait to retire and enjoy a new lifestyle.
Nice !
Regarding that rear area toilet, ration your cake intake if you want to keep fitting inside it. I might get my legs in but thats about all. I really am a FAT cat.
There would have to be a literal ton of cake intake to make us not fit in that bathroom lol
All the cabinets squeak😂
Yep, brand new 2025
@@liferedesigned I'm not sure you got what @annacrossman1288 was referring to.....the doors need adjusting....not a good thing on a new RV.....someone missed that in quality control.
I'll keep my keystone cougar 368mbi 5th wheel with mother in law suite
Totally get that, everyone has their own preference 😊
We traded in our Imagine 2970rl for a Tiffin DP. Trade off for less work is more money but yolo. 🤷♀️
Exactly! 😍
Hell yeah
That is EXACTLY what our son said lol
Pretty sure I just seen this rig in TN 🤔, if not, yall have a twin lol
We must have twins lol, we are still in SC 😀
Axels are the tuffest thing to deal with😮😢
Very true
The truck needs to be at least a F450 or 4500. so plan on another 70,000.00🤔
We’ve thought about that - it’s a factor for sure!
If not it should be your new home
It is beautiful for sure!
I would be afraid of scratching that. That`s a big step up from your last pull behind.
That is the concern with spending that kind of money on an RV for sure!
👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you as always Brian! Happy New Year!
Gold hardware is currently in style.
That is what the kids tell us lol
🎥……..❤🔥🔥
Thanks for stopping by- love your product!
They also use a heavier huilt frames then other brands
It's always ironic when an RVer misses their stick and bricks home. Then they look at these gigantic RVs.
Just because you live an RV lifestyle doesn’t mean it has to be a tin can lol.
That would be something you would need to address with RUclips support. We have checked on several devices and have no issues wit h playback.
Have Blue Ox inspect it.
We have a local person for the inspection
Class B Van would be my vote!!
If it works for you enjoy!
Agree, we are part timers so Van life is great. (We spend our time outside) but if I was full timing I’m sure the van would be too small. 👍
Start at 30% off Msrp…..and then keep going.
you got that right!
Campers inn rv msrp on that toy hauler on there web sight is 210000.00 you said 159000.00 what is the price they would sell that for
I believe I misspoke on that (now you know the reason for us stating we are not professionals) The sale price was $159k
CCC...with all the storage in that unit...probably very very easy to overload the unit/frame...Always hesitate on too many bells and whistles...
That is why a CAT scale is your friend. Everyone should get weighed fully loaded and learn how to read the results before they hit the road
Enjoyed again can't wait to see Karri driving a dullay, pulling a toy hauler, Santa must have left Bob ,a Christmas Bonus, good luck 2025
You’re too funny! She may be driving the truck in no time!
Cha-Ching
Yep- did you see Bob’s face lose color when reading out the MSRP?
OMG, WOW, huge. Heavy too I bet.
Doesn’t look like they have a black out blinds in the bedroom.
No powered nightstands next to each side of the bed is an automatic deal breaker for us. No place to charge our phones, put our glasses or put my wife's cpap machine. Maybe a queen bed allows for nightstands.
Not an issue for us, but thanks for sharing! Always interesting to hear the needs of others
Shorter
i hope you put money in a saving for repairs, because you will need it.
