I agree about the sweat releasing toxins. Have you tried Lume? It’s supposed to be really good for smell and it doesn’t contain aluminum. I’ve heard you need to try it for a couple days for your body to get used to it and expel whatever deodorant you were using before switching. Keep us posted!

That's what I'm trying next! I've heard good things actually so hopefully it works. Hope you're doing well Jess!

If the goal is to mitigate sweat, then aluminum is simply the ticket.
    Look for acidifying products.
If odor is the issue, then try to avoid alkaline products that raise the pH of the underarms. They create an environment for the smelly-causing bacteria to thrive. Many "natural" deodorants don't understand this and include absorbants that are alkaline. However, trying to combat odor without also addressing excessive sweating is fighting a losing battle.
If you believe that sweating is a function that expels toxins, and if skin covers your entire body, then sweating purposefully via exercise should do the trick vs. unwanted underarm sweat. Do you really think that sweaty people are expelling more toxins than people that hardly sweat at all tho? The answer is "No."

Doesn't fail, watching how the puddles of sweat just dried up within 48 hours was so satisfying, I used what I read about the other day. Although it actually took about 72 hours for my sweating to normalize, I went ahead and go'ogled Cynthia Yulesin’s Stop Sweating Today and I don’t have to change clothes 2 times a day.
