I4C 2024 Workshop: Navigating carbon pricing in the maritime sector

Carbon pricing is more effective and efficient when it covers a greater proportion of the economy, but some sectors are more difficult than others to price. This workshop seek to delve into the challenges and opportunities of pricing emissions in the maritime sector. It explored domestic pricing through compliance carbon markets and taxes, as well as international pricing under the International Maritime Organization.
