A rather simple wish would be to hear the different presets (maybe using a simple pattern on the DB-01 and no other fx) to get a more general idea of what this puppy can do. Maybe with tweaks along the way, when a preset strikes your fancy, to hear how the knobs specifically affect the sounds? For context I just got a Deckard's Dream and am intensely researching reverbs... seriously pondering the Meris X vs the Nightverb as both are at the exact same price point.
@@LAZ-org That's a good idea, thanks. I was thinking of doing something a little more formal looking at the various controls. Going through the presets would be a good start to that.
@@RichardDeHove Thanks! No problem. I don't know how many presets there are, so maybe just pick your favorites and tweak accordingly. I saw 'Harp Lady' just uploaded her own vid. Love the function that morphs between different presets. Reminded me of the LXR-2 with it's ability to morph between two sounds.
Hi Somnambule! For the month or so I've had it I still haven't saved a single patch, I always just have the knobs "live" and dial in whatever I need for the moment, then with all the knobs at real positions I can easily play the machine. In that way it's like the Zen, it becomes part of the action rather than just something static at the end of the chain. I think that makes it much easier to justify as a hardware effect. I often would think that if I was just putting reverb at the end of the chain of hardware what was the point? I may as well do that on the DAW later. But if you are actively adjusting the reverb as part of the performance then that's like complex post-production DAW automation (except fun). And of course that's only possible because all the controls are exposed on the front panel. So yes, I'm a fan. Sound-wise I can see the Nightverb fitting very well with your Labyrinth and Terra work :) Next for me is trying to do some real-time MIDI CC parameter control to see whether that extra level of complexity is worth the sweat.
WOW.... lovely noisy strange sound.... emotional !
They all sound cool but Seepytime kicked me right in the pleasure lobe. 👍👍
Essential demo as usual.
Another great, moody demo! Love that you brought the Acidbox into the mix!

@@LAZ-org Just watched it, a great video! I really must read the manual :D Been too busy having fun.
What amazing atmospheres…I see the nightverb is on my wishlist too….It’s fantastic what your creating only with the efx…it‘s fat mate👍! Greetings 🖖👽
Thanks Somnambule. It is sort of funny that in most of these examples there's no sound source, just three effects.
Great soundscapes! I like the Ripper section the most. Palpable desolation.
That's the mood for me :)
Yes!😸
Hi Richard. After a few weeks what are your thoughts about the Nightverb….maybe I like to buy it;-) best greetz🖖☺️

@@RichardDeHove big thanx Richard for the info, that’s help me really further…I ordered today;-)! Best greeetz and have a chilling weekend 🖖☺️
@@Somnambule Looking forward to the new creations :)
........as the Four Horsemen Ride Towards Me......I wait on My Pale White Horse.
Very noisy, sounds like HVAC.
