Eban’s Advice on How to Practice
Concentrate on one thing at a time
Know your fret board, know chord names and individual note names too
Lock one thing in at a time.

Eban demonstrates how he would play bass and his dad would play chords with a funky strumming pattern. He dubbed it “My Father’s Groove” which has a particular “chopping” (strumming) pattern and recorded it on one of his albums.
He then uses a Blues example to show how he uses several types of D chords, which is a core element to his masterclass.
    Eban’s advice to upcoming musicians:
    1. Create songs that you can sing for the rest of your life. You won’t outgrow good music.
    2. “Don’t make nothing that your mother can’t listen to.”
    3. Educate yourselves and stay steadfast. Stick to it no matter what.
