Israeli Airstrikes Targetting Senior Hamas Commanders Kill Over 140 | Firstpost America
The Israeli Army said it killed a senior Hamas commander named Rafa Salama in an airstrike in the Al-Mawasi town in Gaza. The army also claimed that it targeted the top commander of Hamas' military wing Mohammed Deif. However, Hamas said Deif was alive and well and was overseeing their operations. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also said that there is no certainty that Deif has been killed. According to the Hamas-run health ministry, at least 141 people have been killed and more than 400 have been wounded in these attacks since Saturday. Moreover, ceasefire talks between Hamas and Israel have ended unsuccessfully in Egypt and Qatar.
