The pure amount of amazing concepts for moves in this game is insane, they had every moves ever done in a wrestling ring like they need to get all if not most of these moves and re animate them in the next game
15:24 and 3:09:41 used to be the finishers of my CAW, I really loved ending the matches with the Towerhack Bomb. SVR 2006 is my second favorite game of the series because of the huge variety of submission locks, slams and technical moves. If only THQ would've added Victoria, Maven and Luther Reigns in the final cut and the GM Mode had an easy way to beat just like in 2007, it could've been the perfect wrestling game.
I like the older games simply for the moves because they looked like they had an impact to them...some of the basic strikes in the newer games look like they barely even touch the opponent...and some look like they don't even connect but the opponent sells like it did. I also miss all of the martial arts and boxing moves because it comes in handy for use in certain CAW/CAS characters that are supposed to be boxers, martial artists, cage fighters, Tekken character, Street Fighter character, Virtua Fighter character, Mortal Kombat character, etc. I recently decided to check out SmackDown vs Raw 2010 on PS2 and I have to say I loved all of the boxing combinations (though a few of the animations should have ended with the opponent being knocked down) and I really liked the Martial Arts Combination move in the game for a character I made but there were quite a few problems with diving moves because they would be mid-air and then suddenly cut to the landing (thankfully create-a-finisher gives the ability to fix it). Being able to change a characters stance, walking motion, and running motion are features so small that can make such a huge difference.

my finishers are tombstone piledriver 1 and spear 5.. my signatured are ankle lock 3, five knuckle shuffle, and belly to back side slam (actually instead of the rock bottom)..
there was more technical wrestling in these games than anything past svr08. the GY moves yielded greater damage which next to the sleeper submission and double ko mechanics were very cool features. my only thing i wish was they had the option to scale limb damage. for legend make everyone hella resilient for a greater challenge.

Unfortunately no. But, the animation does vary depending on your Speed stat. If it's low, you climb very slowly. If it's medium, you climb at an average speed. If high, you leap on top the turnbuckle instantly like RVD
L1 for finishers, they weren't no signatures in theese games you just put the move in your moveset and add them under the (favorite moves page) those count as your signatures
I'm trying to find a move. The attacker stands on one leg and makes a scarecrow like position, then kicks the opponent in the stomach with the other leg.
Does anyone know how to do signature moves. No matter what grapple i do i cant seem to get any wrestler to do one of their special moves on the list they have on their moveset. And im not talking about finishers/smackdown
think it asks you if you want to reverse it or not when picking the move so then if you say yes with a right-hand punch then it'll switch to left-hand version
Has anyone ever seen a live execution of Camel Clutch 2 at 1:07:29? It's got to be one of the kinkiest wrestling moves ever and the uncut version is only present in 06 and 07. I've seen lots of wheelbarrow setups in live wrestling but never this one.

its called crane kick. its not in this game. it was added in some later game.

usually to find your wrestlers move it's under left D-pad then grapple if you want to mark them as signatures check the (Favorite moves page)
