Study? study?! I hear the new guys just take practice exams until they memorize enough correct answers to get a ticket. Granted I didn't learn exactly everything when I tested, but that I'm still studying and learning. I keep hearing guys on HF that don't understand a damn dipole... Which is truly tragic in that there has never been an easier time to learn, with all these free resources and folks like Peter Parker showing how an interested mind can do interesting things and learn! Can someone please do a book like Charles Platt’s focused on radio. All sources I find go from super simple crystal set straight to multiple transistor superhet.
hi everyone ,if anyone else is searching for introduction to electronics book try Letza Easy Electronics Lessons (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my colleague got cool results with it.
Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else wants to learn about electronic repair stores try Saankramer Electronic Magazine System (just google it ) ? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my co-worker got amazing results with it.
Or don't and explain why--I'm not sure I want hundreds or thousands more bigger signals on the HF bands if there is any chance they aren't properly filtered. Especially with a new cycle coming 'round in a few years.
