Apart from inappropriate sending of pictures which appear to be of a potentially criminal nature ( telecommunications act) he disclosed colleagues private contact details which is a data protection offence.

Just so long as I don't have to see them I don't care about that part. If one of us gave out personal information we would be sacked and the rest of the company would be forced to sit through one of those ghastly HR meetings 😦

@@thomaspickin9376 Well since I'm gay I have also encountered similar kind of blackmailing, this sending and receiving explicit pictures are just a part of online dating in general...
What he should really had done was to tell this guy to go ahead with his release of that material, then just say "yeah so what?" if it actually happened. Sure it's embarrassing, but not as shameful as caving in to such demands, even more so when it involves others.
In my case the guy demanded like 200k SEK(about £20k) or he would release them(four pictures) to all my clients... well i just told him to go ahead and do it. Then i called the police and everyone who might take grave offense about receiving nude pictures of me, then i sent a message to every single client I had met within a six month time frame, just in case, even if i highly doubt he would have all of those names(or even a single one). Honestly everyone i talked to understood the situation, only one person told me i was really stupid and a deviant and i guess i can accept that.
Besides this guy never went trough with it, he must had realized that actually spreading the pictures would make it easy to track him down and arrest him, while also giving the court massive amounts of credible evidence of his blackmail attempt.

This is a vital year for us as there is likely to be a General Election at the end of 2024. We will also be contending local elections in England and the London Assembly election next May.
In the UK, the old political parties continue to work in lockstep together to allow perverse materials into classrooms for Relationships and Sexuality Education, permit open borders with unprecedented levels of both illegal and legal immigration, and make war on motorists with increasingly onerous restrictions on travel for ordinary citizens such as LTNs, 15-minute cities and the ULEZ.
The Heritage Party is the only UK-wide party that will end the climate emergency hoax and lift all restrictions on carbon dioxide emissions. We will ensure that people can continue to buy and use petrol and diesel cars and keep gas boilers in their homes. We will repeal regulations that require homes to have SMART meters and meet impossible new building emissions criteria, designed to force the abandonment of older buildings that are a precious part of our heritage.
We will introduce a Child Protection Bill to protect children from propaganda that attempts to confuse them with gender ideology or groom them into early sexual activity. We will also control our borders by pushing illegal boats back across the Channel and introducing strict caps on student and work visas while ensuring we train enough young British people to do the jobs that need to be done in this country. I Edward say that if anyone votes Lib/Lab/ Con or any other left wing parties they need their head examined. Heritage could, with your help make Britain great again. People are absolutely mental if the vote for labour or conservative. David Kurten Heritage Party We are now in our fourth year since we launched as a party in autumn 2020.
Anyone who votes labour or tory or any other left wing party need their head examined

It's a shame a number of people in this didn't see the major issue as the response to blackmail and had a bit more focus on the sexting portion. The lady that described herself as working class sounds like she has been exposed to a lot of the Tory client media with her view on Labour "just spending all the money and getting in debt".
Wragg should resign as an MP because he failed to understand the Prevent agenda and training that MPs should be provided, the correct response to blackmail is immediately contact the police. I do entirely agree that this "scandal" has received a very large amount of coverage and there are other scandals that are worse, but those those have been covered by the media and are awaiting inquiries to process (PPE/COVID inquiry for example).

I feel for people who have these mixed opinions based on nothing. We should actually be speaking to them and engaging because that's how Brexit happened, people just blindly voting for something they like the sound bites they were being fed but they didn't understand what was actually being put on offer.
We need better communication with the whole electorate, not just sidelining people because they are ignorant of the reality.
